Hey Eric this is for you homes!!!! (test fitted new TEs)

So I was with the guys here in VA beach and a new set a rims came in for our evo. But when they heard my Time attacks came off an evo they wanted to test fit these on my tl to check the fitment for the new rims we are going to order in a week.

New specs are as follows

Fronts
18x9.5 +22 offset

Rears
18x9.5 +20 offset

Tire specs are
235/40/18 all around (falken azenis 615s)

Rear fenders were rolled and no rubbing

THESE ARE CELL PICS Not one of us had a charged camera haha. Will have more from an Iphone later. These are from a samsung u-470

Aggressive! You can't go wrong with these or the TA CEs on your ride. Don't bother with the iphone pics, they're just as crappy.

Beat me to the punch.. not many know but I'll be getting 19x8.5 +22 and 19x9.5 +22 volks by the end of this week...

Looks crazy nice! I think i'm gonna go with 225/35/19 in the rear and 215/35/19 in the front though. My car is slammedd

Great choice though! Keep up the good work.

Damn looks sick, I shoulda kept my Volks and ran more stretch...sigh

Brian you probably wont need that much stretch, 235s in the rear should be good, I had 255s on 19x9.5 +24, they rubbed of course but still 235s should be no problem, I was gonna try 245s but I am freakin broke right now due to wedding and sold the wheels oh and my front was 235/35/19 on 19x8.5 +22 if I could do it again I would go 225/245 and see how that works. I need a tire sponser lol

When I saw them I thought of Eric's TL and was like "I gotta see how these look"

Never saw a TL with TE's till I saw his with the bronze ones at HIN DC a year back.

no the new wheels will be 9.5 still but the offset is going to be lower than what my CEs are now!

I won't say which wheels are going to be ordered, but it could be volk, enkei, work.....we will just have to wait and see.

Nice offset. Would look better if you did something with your grill IMO. The black/gold/silver doesn't flow as well.

My bumper was hit in the work parkin lot so I am holding off color matching the grill till the new bumper is here. Also if you read at the top they are for our evo and we simply test fitted these to check the sizing when I order my new rims.

But yes I hate the grill as it is right now!!!

Hate to say it, but the color combo kind of reminds of Smokey and the Bandit:

So that's what 20 and 22 offset looks like. Nice!

Did you say you are ordering a new set of volks?

And when is that east coast honda meet again? May 30?

I am tossing around bronze CEs right now to match the teg. But I just got mag blue ces for the teg as well. So I have to choose between bronze or mag blue to match since the teg has 2 sets.

But if not that then something different like a SBC finish or something a little more flashy.

Haha as you can see I am not even close to making a choice yet but I will keep everything updated.

Luda I will let you know on the CEs since your a local you'll be the first to know!
