Here i am again back with another mod, after my minor mod for my WDP TL-S. I painted with red engine enamel there are still some over spray spot, it will be fix if i can over come my laziness

Well I am going to give some constructive criticism.
The good: The red matches the red around the 3.5 VTEC almost perfectly. Your idea has potential.
The bad: I agree with jjasha the paint has a lot of orange peel to it. Should be redone with a smoother finish. Maybe some wetsanding/clear coating can take care of that. The oil cap, while very nice, looks pink compared to the red of the engine cover.
My suggestion: Polish the oil cap, refinish the paint and it will be perfect.

I dont think any other colour would have looked better...unless it was polished of course!
the oil cap when i bought it said red though, it has been powder coated maybe it looks pink because of the heat? I should have keep black part surround of the oil cap black.
I am definately NOT hating on the oil cap. I think the oil cap in itself looks great, especially when his engine cover was black. However next to a deep red, it does not look good. The lugs look great on that car because they are next to white. Again just my opinion.

@ lighter than the stock oil cap....should make a difference on a 3,600 lb car
