I like it if you actually use it...not for looks. And there isn't anything JDM about a Thule bike rack on an American-built car. Just saying. I dig the wheels though.

I like it! I'm looking for one as well...

Use it in the summer for my Kona Shred mountain bike...
... snowboards for the winter time.

How much did it cost? Are these kits universal somehow?

Any thoughts on Thule VS Yakima?

I'm getting a Thule rack in a couple weeks...getting it for my snowboard. I'll post up pics when I get it on.

Oh, and Thule > Yakima

Yea I really don't have any bikes laying around to use but I guess I'll buy one if that's the case..Maybe a white freestyle one and fill it up with different color stickers would look pretty cool.

If you are using it like every weekend, then keep it on. If it's use occasionally, like once a month, I don't think it's worth keeping on. I don't understand how it adds any JDMness to the car...

Omg... Jdm look??? Lol nothing jdm About it, just a trend that Honda tech kids started and if anything it's a usdm look. Check out usdm jam in japan their cars straight up look like they are from the USA. Bike racks, Fatlace stickers, Acura and Lexus badging, etc.... Terrible thing that's their perception of our scene

The best is bras on the front of their cars. Hello 1995. And the oversized chrome rims.

there's a thread on that on that car and it's something from an inspire. I think i have the link on my other computer.

on topic: i'm getting a bike rack this weekend. I don't use it EVERY weekend since i have a weekend job as well, but I do go trail riding and might be using it for the upcoming winter season. Clear bra FTW.

i've had a thule roof rack (would have preferred yakima base with my thule mounts) since day 2 of owning my car. so if you ride and use it...keep it on. but for looks...seriously?? dont' be a poser.

its does eat MPGs though. i get 18mpg with mixed city and hwy without bikes on top. lucky to get 22-23 mpg on hwy with bikes.
