HDIZZLE's progress thread
Hi guys my names Adam and I've owned my 06 TL since the beginning of September 2010 and have been lurking on this forum for over 2yrs now. When I first bought my car I really had no intention of modding it or doing much... That was intill I started spending more time on this site and fell in love and emptied my pockets on parts lol. So I figured its time I posted pictures of my car through the various stages from the time I bought it up in till how she currently sits. Now on to the pictures..
This was March of 2011, 35% front windows and 20% the rest window tint, 18x8.5 et35 Tsw Nurburgring all around, and vinyl wrapped the roof
By October of 2011 I added the front and rear 04-06 aspec, changed the taillights to 07-08 base, ebay window spoiler (Someone stole it not to long ) and I went plastidip happy on the front grill and rear emblem
During the winter of 2012 I decided to the accord fog mod. Long story short I did all the trimming and had the fogs mounted but wasn't happy with the look , I felt it wasn't oem. So I scrapped the project and went with a complete type s conversion up front even went ahead and bought the side mirrors while I was at it
Early spring 2012 the time had come to finally lower the TL. I went with the ht-spec type 1's. Here's a pic to show just how low they can go.
End of Spring I ditched the wing spoiler in favor of a base decklid I picked up off ebay and got painted.
Some other shots
End of Summer I picked up these badboys from excelerate
All installed, sold my base lip and reused my base bumper just trimmed around the exhaust openings. No need to cut out the middle like some people do.
Before winter came I also added the ingalls rear camber kit and aspec side skirts (Don't know why I waited that long to buy them, car looked funny without them) and most importantly I finally had bruce (ACKTL) clear my headlights
Amber diffuser removed, blacked out housing, zkw-r lenses, v-led switchbacks, and 5k morimoto bulbs kinda regret not shelling out the $$ and going with Osram Cbi's but oh well can always change them. This is just after they where installed.
So this past february I decided to ditch the horribly stiff form and functions which happened to have a blown rear strut and get the coilovers I should have bought the first time
Tein steet advance and progess rsb
Some current pictures all installed (I'm no professional with a camera so please don't make fun of me lol)
Sitting a 1/2" from maxed out in the front and drives super smooth I love it!!!
And I figured I'd leave you guys with a teaser since everyone on this site loves too.. Wheels are currently being powdercoated and should be on the car within a few days
I still have a couple mods that I've been planning on doing. On the top of my list would be a bbk, thinking of doing a brembo swap up front or a wilwood bbk. Still undecided on what to do but I wont be fully happy in till I upgrade my brakes
Also looking to get a AEM v2 intake and rv6 j pipe soon, but for now I'm taking it one step at a time and I'll be sure to update with new pictures

Thank you Mr.Bell
Im still undecided I really want to go oem and do the brembo swap but theres a lot of parts involved thats why Ive been leaning towards the wilwood bbk which would actually be cheaper and more straight-forward
Thanks man and the side skirts where one those things i knew needed but put it to side idk why lol
thanks buddy

Great choice on the lugs. Just make sure you don't over torque them and NEVER let anyone put an air gun on them. They're aluminum, which is much softer than your typical steel lugs. You probably already knew that.

So this past thursday I picked up my wheels from the powdercoater. From there headed straight to the tire shop got them mounted and headed home to put them on the car. The lips were completely refinished and the faces were painted gunmetal metallic.
Only have one picture now, still need to adjust the height a little and camber in the rear.
Wheels are Work Meister s1 2p
19x9+25 up front and 19x10+15 in the rear
Will have more detailed and higher quality pictures once everything is set up the way I like.
