Great site you've got here....

Love everything about the car (traded in my CLK 430 and haven't had a moments remorse), except it seems the grille needs something....

I like a nice clean look, and for your reference, the "A" on the rear can't be taken off as it has two inserts along with the tape...

And another nice clean silver vehicle of mine...

Behind the 'A' emblem, just like the 'H' emblem on the rear of the cars are 2 anchors...those are used just to hold the emblem in place. You can take it all out if you want. That's what I did on my 98 Accord Coupe V6 but decided to put an emblem back in. Unless if you place on filling in those holes or doing something with it, I'd recommend to leave it in. Clean pics...I'd recommend blurring out the license plate though. Don't know what psychos are out there.

Thanks guys! I'll take my chances with the plates. In fact, if someone would steal that damn Hayabusa, I'd be about $15k richer (over $11k in mods on it)... In fact, *cough, cough* Woodstock, IL at 120 and 47 *cough, cough* it'd be a blessing.

Hayabusa,

What did you like or did'nt like about the CLK430 as compared to the new TL? I'm actually looking at purchasing one of these vehicles. I like both of these cars for different reasons.

CLK was, hands down, the worst car I've ever driven in the snow. Everything I loved about the CLK, the TL had, but with reliability. I went from a E36 M3 to the CLK430 to the TL, and while each had their unique strengths and weaknesses, the TL is the best car I've ever owned (Maxima SE in a close second)...

Also, selling to blue collar/union factories, pulling in to the customer's lot in a CLK (which cannot seat four, no matter how hard you try to tell yourself), gives off the wrong perception. Not to mention women being a divorced early 30s male. Unless you're looking for superficial women, of course...

But that's just me. It was a great car, but just not for me.

Thanks for your honesty. Reliability is scaring me when I look at the CLK430. I drive 400-500 miles a week from my commute and I can not afford to have my car in the shop constantly. The TL will be a very reliable car indeed. I have always owned 2 door cars so the idea of having a 4 door car is a little weird to me. I'm not exactly looking to haul people around in it.

It's my third busa (I love 'em!)

This one has an Akrapovic full titanium exhaust and a ton of mods, including Yosh cams, Ohlins and Racetech suspension, (just sold the forged OZ wheels for the bling... sorry, had to do it..), air box mod, K&N, blah, blah, blah... Always buy someone else's project rather than dumping that kind of $ into anything.

Just came back from Road America (I drag race and road race with it) where I blew the front fork seal... But before I did, it's quite a rush seeing an indicated 195 miles per hour on the speedo on the straight (it's yellow box corrected for the incorrect speedo, but it's still probably off by 15-20mph)

The TL? Yeah, it's just the angle of the shot... Didn't even notice it. (Got thrown off by the muffler comment rather than "tip")

Thanks for the nice comments guys. Love this car....
