Not a fan of the sticker, but, the paint color and end result look great. Very clean.

Don't take it personal, I did'nt even mention your name!! I know you write and post, and write and post, and then again write and post, so mabe next week you will have 5,000 post, hats off to you! I was not reffering to me regarding the creativity, but obviously you took it personal and lashed back. I was just recognizing ACURA604's efforts and sharing what he did with the forum. Thats why I said there was no need to get nasty, and even personal with some of the members comments towards what he did.

Oh no personal offense taken, haha, I was just asking. But you didn't mention anyone's name. I also lol'd at your description of 'lashed back.' Also not really sure what post count has to do with anything... I joined in Jul 2006, you joined Nov 2009...

No offense meant nor taken! You know I have asked for your opinions and recommendation in a few occasions, and I have appreciated them greatly. Obviously you know more about the TL's than I do. The only point I was trying to make, without offending anyone, was that member's have to be so careful of what they post, as if some other member does'nt agree or like it, the member who posted has to be ready for sarcasm and remark's which obviously do not contribute to the initial meaning for which, I believe, this FORUM was created for! And bear in mind that you quoted me! That's why this debate between you and me started and is exceeding the real purpose of this thread, which was some member who painted his calipers and put ACURA decals on it. As I said bforbrian, I am not trying to antagonize or contest your knowledge or comments in this forum, it was very general!

Love the color! The decals seem a bit too big for the calipers, though.
I painted mine black and applied decals in a smaller "font size". I think they look great and that's all that matters to me!

This thread is ridiculous. People can post pics of their riced out TLs and only get a "I'm not feeling it" from the majority and the OP here simply paints his calipers (GRAY, not red or yellow or komodo fire dragon purple) and gets flamed for putting a tiny Acura sticker on them. Yet when people put stickers on their rear windows, no one has an issue with it.

As Ttribe said, you don't need to be an ass to express your opinion. The OP's mod is nothing compared to some. And I salute the OP for not firing back at said comments.

get the nissin caliper decals from grafixpressions.com and put those on. At least you'll be rocking the caliper manufacturer logo!

Umm, no, you didn't back it up (as has been conclusively demonstrated in this thread). Regardless, it's beside the point, which is - feel free to express an opinion, just learn how to do it without being an ass.

Warning....

Guys-everyone needs to calm down....really. Fair warning-only one.

Calipers look nice-but not a fan of the ACURA logo.

i had them powdercoated. i wouldnt suggest paint your calipers white... your trying to make something flashy that isnt suppose to be flashy but if u have your heart set on it by all means go do it.

powdercoat is a very durable paint/finish and yes it is easy to keep clean. i will have my car professionally detailed soon and plan to have my rims/brembos waxed. as of now they are still pretty clean

I have seen the same decals on eBay but I feel it just looks poorly designed for the stock caliper.
They should have made the font size smaller instead of trying to make it as big as possible to fit the whole caliper.

If they did that then it would look much cleaner and not so much an eyesore.

Props on the Gunmetal color choice which I have been thinking about for some time now.

looks bad. and cheapens the acura brand. does all acuras a disservice. like they're proud of those run-of-the-mill brakes. bad. get brembos or dont have 'acura' on your brakes. end of story. work looks good tho (being positive)

UPDATE:

decal removed. i agree, the lettering/font was just too large.. caliper is now just a hunk of gunmetal. BUT i have to highly recommend that if you are planning on painting the calipers, go with this gunmetal.. it looks absolutely amazing...i'll post photos soon without the wheels.

Not bad at all. I like them a lot. I thought about doing that a while back but would be too much work. Do you have the link to the Decal?
