Nothing new to update with, except I have window visors now that I love, but now I'm on stock rims for the winter.
Also ordered my bmwoemshop roof spoiler, can't wait for that.

Nice pic! I hate it that Winter is coming. We're supposed to get a HUGE blast of Canadian cold air tonight. It's supposed to last for over a week. It was sunny and 71 degrees today-overnight for the rest of the week....21 degrees-20 degrees below normal temps.
I took the Stingray over to Anil's tonight so the Type S doesn't have to sit outside in the bitter cold........damnit.

Another update, I just bought Muteki SR48 Burning Blue Lugs, they should arrive next week.
I will also be checking out Type-S wheels tomorrow.
We'll see if I pull the trigger.

Also fixed my memory seat problem.
It would remember the position for like a week, and then forget it.
It didn't bother me much because before someone else drives like a mechanic, I set my position so it remembers it temporarily.
The fix was to replace the Memory seat module, under the driver seat.
The module costs around $170 new, which isn't worth it.
My friend just totaled his 05 TL, so I was able to take it his module off him =)
Only early 04 models were affected, and I guess the previous owner(s) never bothered to get it fixed through warranty with Acura.
People who have working memory seats with an 04 probably had their module replaced already before their ownership, that's why this problem doesn't pop up often in threads. I just don't know why my previous owner(s) didn't get it done.

Thanh...
Don't kill me, but:
OEM wheels usually have a different lug seat than aftermarket. Without knowing for sure, most aftermarket lugs are intended ONLY for aftermarket seat which is tapered. It'll work, but over time you may have issues with it. I didn't know and ran whatever on whatever wheels but learned later.
Also, in a climate with salt and snow...I don't think open lugs are a good idea. Also, if they are labeled as "lightweight" I'd be VERY leery of using them. Very easy to strip them when putting them on and forget about using a gun to install...you'll have to hand torque them down every single time.
That's why I ended up with project mu for the advan...they are steel, 7 sided for security, add some color and protect the stud.
Just my opinion based on my experience.
Good information about the memory seat! Mine is early 2004 and mine NEVER remembers the position past a week either. I had it checked out once at the dealer but they got it to work and didn't know about the issue returning later. I'm the only guy that drives my car so I really didn't care much.
IIRC OEM is Ball

Thanks for the info, man.
Good thing I don't use a gun to install and good thing I have acorn > ball seat washers =)

I just bought the Type-S wheels, I'll have pictures tomorrow.
They're VERY curb rashed, not just the lip, but all the way near the center too.
One is visibly bent, too.
Depending on how much it will cost to fix the structural issues, I will be refinishing them myself and painting them Mag Blue. Otherwise, I'm not gonna bother and will sell them.

I just picked up the wheels yesterday.
I went to get them checked out today at a shop for $20.
TWO of the wheels were good.
one of them has a minor bend (flat spot)
one is warped
I could dish out money to repair it, but I can't justify to do so when my stock wheels are perfectly fine.
If I had steel wheels, or maybe summer wheels that I hated, I would stick with them.
I picked the wheels up without necessarily needing them.
Then I realized I'm burying myself in a money pit buying things I don't need.
It's a great deal for someone who wants/needs new wheels.
So I sold them for $150 and took the loss.

I got the diffusers from a local member who took his out
All it took was me looking at pictures of local cars, and then I saw someone who didn't have diffusers.
I proceeded to PM the member if he still had them around and he did
So hopefully this weekend I can take some pictures.
I just received my roof spoiler, which right now is too stiff to install due to cold weather. I felt like I was gonna crack the thing bending it, that's how cold it was.
I should also receive my new lug nuts.
I bought these lugs instead of the Muteki Burning Blue.
They have locks, whereas my set of Mutekis I ordered didn't.
Also bought OEM Type-S sidemarkers which will hopefully come next week.

They have arrived, my dream set of lugs after seeing them on ch1zo's car.
In fact, these came off ch1zo's car before ATLS-666 sold them to me.
Huge thanks to Kevon
Of course I busted out the camera to catch the beauty of them.

I don't like to drive in the winter either so usually I take public transit.
Some days are just too cold and you wish you were driving instead, though.

I always thought they were bought off Chris!
That's good to know that you were the only one that had them
I can't wait to try them in the spring.
Thanks, DarkTower19!
I'm looking forward to more shots, but weather has been really bad, and I'm just waiting on getting the Type-S sidemarkers before doing the photos
