IMO I would still wait to roll em down, just to be on the safe side. If you are worried about it, whats a couple of more days
Car looks damn good now with the tint.
Will those LED boards work in the trunk? I'm assuming so if they fit in the domes they would fit in the trunk. About the issue with them being hot, do you think you got a bad batch or something? Try putting them in the rear domes and see if they get hot in that location too.

These LED boards will DEFINITELY work in the trunk.
They won't fit in the little fixture they have for the trunk.
You'll have to just double sided tape mount them onto the fixture.
Mount the LED board on the underside of the fixture.
Both of my led boards get hot, so I assume it's normal
I just won't have them turned on for a long time
Still waiting for my rear dome LED boards!!! grr how come it's taking so long???
Thanks broski!

Do you guys think it's okay to remove my door panel now, as so it won't mess up my tint?

Just replaced my door lock actuator and it was a pain in the ass.
The hardest part was removing the whole assembly.
I had no idea where to disconnect a metal rod.
Put everything back together eventually, and found out I forgot to plug the connects into the new actuator...
Had to remove the door panel (only enough to slide my hand in) and plug the connectors in.
New actuator works like a charm. Now I can lock and unlock my car without the keyhole!
On another note, I just washed my car so expect pics

Just replaced my driver one.
The driver one didn't lock or unlock anymore electronically.
It worked manually though (using keyhole).
Basically my driver door lock was like a car from the 80s or 90s.. manual all the way
So that meant when I pressed lock on my keyfob, all doors lock except the driver.
Same happens when I clicked unlock.
I had to ghetto it for a whole month by locking and unlocking my door using the keyhole

So my rear 12-SMT 5050 LED boards finally came in today! (I was getting worried!)
First impression is that they are BRIGHT.
Obviously not as bright as my fronts, as I intended, but WAY brighter than the 360 5 LED bulb from VLEDs I installed last year.
The big complaint I have about them is that they are NOT pure white like my fronts are.
They have the sorta the same blueish hint as my VLEDs had.
No lights on:
Driver's side dome ON with old VLED bulb (Passenger dome off)
Passenger's side dome ON with NEW LED board (Driver dome off)
Both ON with new LED boards in both sides
Notice the colour difference from the fronts. You can see pure white light from the fronts on some parts of the interior.
See the difference?
Don't get me wrong, they are not BLUE and the brightness still blows the old ones out of the water, but I was expecting it to be PURE white as stated on the listing when I bought them.
It's weird, because for the front LEDs, they were listed as just white.
The rears were listed as "pure white" (ANOTHER SELLER BTW), so I was afraid my rears were gonna be whiter than my fronts.
Lesson learned: Buy from the same seller.
They are obviously not all the same, even if they were made in the same country.
What sucks even more is that I looked at the things for sale from the guy I bought my front domes, and he also sells a 12 SMD 5050 LED board...
I might sell these ones and order it from him...

Yeah, they are very bright!
I just ordered new ones though.
This time I bought it from the same seller who I bought the fronts from so hopefully they are whiter.
That being said, the ones I just put in are going for sale.
Hopefully to someone local or a buddy of mine.
Do it!!!
Says the guy with a custom front end setup lol

Too big lol
The 12SMT ones I just ordered from the same guy I bought the fronts from should match the fronts
They look exact same except this one is 12SMT and the fronts are 15SMT lol
It was definitely a mistake to buy from the other buyer.
It also costed more too!

Indeed,
Honestly, I can appreciate getting better at something with practice...but even with all my DIY skillz (delusional much!?!?) I felt VERY uncomfortable with how to open, mod and never mind reseal a set of tails. Too small of a room for error. And I was only practiciing on a throwaway set.

Just realized this monring that my front domes were turned when I went in my garage.
It must have been on ALL NIGHT!!!
The screwed up thing is that I NEVER turned them on.
I havn't tried starting the car or anyting yet, but I doubt any power problems will arise (just because it was only the front two domes).
I'm just worried about my LEDs getting dimmer because they were on for so long lol
I don't even know how long they were on for because I definitely did NOT push them on.

Maybe I'm over-reacting like usual, guys.
Anywho, do you think the ~12 hours it was on for made it dimmer?
As for heat, it wasn't hot at all when I pushed them to turn them off.

I doubt you damaged anything. I've left mine on for even longer and I've had no problems

Alright, so the new rear LED boards came in (same seller I bought the fronts from).
The boards are bigger, and BRIGHTER, and whiter.
How's the match now?
Also spent some time the other day to polish the carbon fiber trim with Meguiars ScratchX 2.0
That stuff works wonders!!!
