Maybe it's me, but I'm noticing that everyone that I see who has a Cf hood on there TL's...the hood doesn't seem to fit perfectly. Is it only me?

If i could find one for my 2gen I would leave the full hood(not painted) and look for a nice gunmetal w/polished lip(like the Axis Hiros) or vice versa in 19's and CF rear lip spoiler and call it a day. But your ride looks good playa......

for the record lembowski didnt do any of the paint work. But we did spend 3 hrs working on the hood trim and heat reflection mat together before putting it on his car. it was his idea of the colors and how he wanted it done. I'm just his dream weaver. LOL.

with cars that have drastic body lines on the hood and bumper like the 3g tl (except on white) it kinda looks like ass if u don't paint it. For instance. When I had the hood on my car before paint i think it looked like shit. But after I painted it and put it back on even with being silver on my black car it looked dope.

Its pretty significant. We didn't weigh it but it was very light compared to the stock hood......people say its 20 pounds less but Marty and I both thought it had to be less than that!

Finally someone matched the lines up! I always thought that painting the whole hood mismatched the grille.

For my - it looks perfect!

Thanks bro, the lights are going to be Painted by Jnc the same polished metal metallic as my grill and pin striping. The Type-s tails and sides are the only thing left to accomplish. I just want everything on by the All California Meet

When we had it on Marty's car it didn't look too hot. It it was painted something like this then I think it would work nicely, but not just a raw CF hood

I'd never "paint" the roof just because I think it would hurt resale down the road. I was thinking about the overlay but I'm iffy
