Gorgeous Blacked out TL Dropped on 19" chromies, no 56k...

We did a sweet photoshoot of the TL and CL with RonJon Wheels' Inspyres in 19" chrome and silver machined face. It was sooo hot out there and i could have done a little better with the lighting, but I was sweating like a glass of cold water. We had a good time setting it up and I must say that bret's Black tl was just breaking necks left and right when we were rolling back to back. Bret, feel free to chijme in, i forgot your screen name.

I realize this is off topic but on the TL, how did you tilt the sunroof up? I thought that when you open it, it slides inside the roof rather than on top???

press the sunroof button(push up towards the sky). it does have a tilt feature.

Nice, how much do those rims cost and how much of a drop does the TL have on it?

That's a tight ass Black TL.... I'm about to go get that same color! How far down did you drop it? I'm thinking of dropping mine 1.5" with 19" wheels. Right now I need to sell my Nissan 350Z.

Beautiful wheels, TL and pics!

It's tough taking pics in the bright sunlight. Good job! What camera do you use?

This my favorite. thanks, Ken

Those 245's look like 215/35. I hope the roads are bump free where you live.

Bret's TL is on a Comptech drop and 245/35/19 tires. I used a sony Cybershot 5megapixel camera with the carl zeiss vario sonar lens. Nice but its getting dated. I want to shoot for the new 8.0 mega pixel nikon, but now i have to learn all the features all over, just when i got mused to my third sony camera. oh well. the wheels run for $435 each, and there is a special sale on RonJon Wheels in my sig...

Thanks mat,
Not yet jog, I can only shoot vehicles in the tristate area, close by. So if there is a customer who buys the servos and puts them on locally, i would do the shoot.

All I have to say is theses wheels are great. I get all kinds of attention. Alot of people turn there heads when i drive by because when driving it looks like a "big wall of chrome". At least thats what my friends say.

okay, there you are!, your car definetly has that look, very nice when rolling as well as stationary.

Jog, the 18" servo with a 42mm ofset will fit the 04TL, all you have to do is go 235/40/18 to get the same contact patch as OEM tread width. granted the wheels are half an inch more narrow, the tire is actually wider and makes up for it.

It is supposed to be a 1" drop but I measured it to be more like 1 and 1/4 be for any settling.

Yeah, at least that is all I am aware of. The spring makes the car slightly stiffer and you feel the road more.

man these pics can't show the car in motion, the wheels sparkle soo much and the drop on that black tl looks so sweet. You could just see the eyes of the people drawn to the car as it rolled by, it has such a presense.

Definitely one of top 3 TLs I ever seen. Startin to think Black w/Chrome Wheels is best look for this car. Looks much more expensive and rich. Cleans up the akward lines. Damn -- just don't like idea of getting another black car - - so much work -- and dirty half the time.

This guy on my block has a Black TL on 20" chrome wheels. It looks amazing i assumed they were 19s but just dropped until i talked to him. Amazing. It does not rub either.
