Yea, noticed she was fussy when we picked her up yesterday and took her to the doctors today to find out she has a broke collar bone. She was fine Monday night and when we dropped her off Tuesday morning but they some how say it didn't happen there.

 

Of COURSE......it didn't happen there.

 

WOW That is insane....

 

actually on hold now with DSS and filed a complaint with the BBB, will talk to a lawyer tomorrow but not sure how far that will go.

 

Good-I can't believe they would just give her back to you and not own up to that.

 

Tempting whether or not to make some homemade ramps today

my fiance and i threw a surprise party for her parents last weekend and rented out our apartment complex's club house. one lady at the party went to open a window to let some breeze in and the damn piece of glass fell out and landed on her face. required stitches, etc...and yet the complex wants nothing to do with it. they've been avoiding my calls all week. i know my story isn't like yours but i just wanted to say i know how you feel.

speaking of ramps, what kind are you thinking of building and what for? i'll be building a ramp for myself soon to get into the driveway at my new house.

 

My current jack won't fit under the car now with the apsec sides and in due for another 1x3 coming up soon so I'm thinking about making some long wooden ramps.

This driver side engine/trans mount suppose to look like this?



Pass side seems fine and I can't get my phone down to see the front mount

 

supposed to look cracked and broken? no.

 

The transmission mount has some cracks on it....it allows for a little flexing

the side engine mount looks fine

the front and rear engine mounts are tricky bastids....because of the rubber cover you can never guess the condition until you get down there....recently switched the front mount for Dan (local guy) and the mount looked fine from uptop but when we took it out, it was broken in 2 pieces....the only way to know if the front/rear mounts are cracked is to see the amount of engine movement when you fire her up....Dan's engine was "alive" and trying to get out of the bay....

 

I've got a knocking noise ( more like a rattle)and it sounds like its coming from the drivers side front area of the car. The springs sitting good and the strut is nice and tight so I'm trying to narrow it down

 

cv joint, boot, axle, do you see any grease or leakage coming from the boot? when do you hear the noise? turning the wheel? reversing?

also look into the sway bar endlinks and bushings....if the bolts have gotten loose they clunk and make noises like a bish !!!

 

Doesn't matter if I'm turning or going straight. It might be doing it at highway speeds but I can't hear it. Normally driving 10-15 or thru parking lots it's very noticeable.

Got sick as a dog from Carrabbas tonight and threw up a few times. Stil not feeling good at all but was able to pull the car in the garage and clean it off and vacuum. Hopefully I'm better by 5:30am or ill be staying my butt in bed.

Headlights are gone, I'm assuming you guys are painting them black

Gotta say, I've always thought blacked out headlights looked better on silver and white TL's.
