yeah, i remember that. until i got 3 tickets from cornell police saying I need to put it on.. NY sucks! i'm putting it back on tomorrow.

 

dat used 2 b me bak in july and august till i got my custom plates... neva got a ticket for it in NY

The front plate kills the look of modern cars. Nice choice in taking it off, I've been front plateless for 10 years. lol

Brownie was there an imprint on the front of your car when you took the plate off? Sometimes it's hard to tell imperfections in pictures is why I'm asking. JJ had one but I didn't. Just some residue that came off when I washed it. Maybe mine wasn't on long enough. Anybody else have this problem that took their plate off after awhile?

 

thats the first thing i did when i got my tl into my driveway for the first time . . . front plate gone! did the same with my cls. they kill that edge that the front of the acuras are deigned with.

 

so where do you putyour front plate?

i knew a guy who got rubber bands and attatched it to his passenger sun visor. hahaha and if he saw cops he wouldlowerthe visor.

it beats putting it on the dashlike a boy racer. but i dont know...

any suggestions?

 

i noticed when i took off my front plate, that the dealer either used self tapping screws that were too long or screwed them in too far...because the tips of each screw was poking out the other side of the plate frame and just touching the bumper itself...i went back and pointed it out to them on a few cars on the showroom floor, but they didnt seem to care too much...if you look close enough on my car you can just barely make out a spot where the one screw touched the bumber...not a big deal, but it could be...

 

Dark - I just got the front bumper repainted. So I wouldn't know if there was a imprint or not...

Jungs - ??? My front plates chillin in my room lol

 

If all goes well, I should be joining you in the dropped, no front plate club.
