Fox Vs. 85 MPH Type-S

Last night I was heading through Dover Delaware doing about 85 and a fox decided that his time on earth was over and the TL coming down the road was the best way to go out. It could of been worse but still real annoying.

Anyone know a good site to get them for cheap or maybe get nice body kits since i gotta get one now.

Man, don't you know you should never drive through Delaware.

Check in the Vendor section for the Type S A Spec kit, I think it's around 275 Shipped.

lol, but might as well upgrade it's the best time anyways

and to OP could have been much worse, try a cow, (worked behind a bodyshop), and it's shit gets splattered all down the side , let alone the front end being smashed to pieces too

OP, that sucks but it could have been a lot worse. that looks like a pretty clean break. i'd be thankful nothing else was damaged besides the front lip.

AckTL05 is having a group buy on the aspec lip kit. $725 painted/shipped to your door. i'm picking one up soon. they're usually $770. $45 isnt much of a savings for most things, but this is the cheapest i've seen this kit go for.

good luck with whatever you end up doing.

Sorry to see this. I don't know if you'll be able to successfully affix the A-Spec lip to that bumper due to the damage. You might have to get a new bumper.

also OP, maybe get a mesh grill insert, to basically cover the broken lower grill part, then see where exactly that a-spec lip will cover too, and just go that route to cover the damage

Sorry to see OP.

But I personally would not be able to just cover something like up with a body kit. A scratch or small scrape in the paint...maybe. I don't think the A-Spec kit will mount to the lower part of your bumper with the damage.

That sucks, but it's gonna be tough to attach a a-spec lip to that bumper.

Then again, maybe the bolts/clips on the rest of the bumper and the double-sided tape on top will be enough to hold it

with correct prep and cleaning of the surfaces (and quality tape, such as 3m, which quite a few body shops use, and holds just fine), you can get it to stay on there (some of that tape can last 10+ years holding moldings on)
