I almost want to do the entire car flat black! i think its a unique look.

So, how does it hold up in all weather conditions. Here in the Rockies it can get very cold and or hot.

Should be getting my order today so if I have time tonite I might try to tackle this!

The vinyl has an adhesive backing, so water is not needed. Good luck.

Yeah I was thinking about that. Got to get the vinal right though. Wrapping the grill while it is on the car is tough with one person. Mine did not turn out that good because I did not have enough hands.

Maybe you did, might want to sand down any chips in the paint so the edge doesn't show a profile through to the vinyl surface.

Thanks, I didn't take pics of the process but it's not hard if you take your time. First thing I did was remove all of the removable pieces on the grill and cleaned them. I used a hair dryer and the application tool stickercity includes in the order. On the center bar start in the middle and work your way but make sure to leave enough vinyle so it will stick in the indentions. Once you start that will make more sense! Good luck!

Thanks you

The grill is going to get painted again since a shop sprayed a little of primer to the flat black grill, so it's gonna look like new again and for free.

Looks great man

I changed mine up a lil bit and actually went with a semi-gloss vinyl. Looks better than flat black in my opinion.

Thanks dude, I put lights in the oven and opened them up and removed the orange reflectors. Do a search for "clear headlight" or something like that. I think there is a DIY on it somewhere.

Thanks guys for all the posts on this thread, got me to do mine and I love it. Just so you know what it looks like if you leave the gray and chrome lips on the bottom. Leaving it for now but might end up blacking it all out soon. I am a fan of vinyl now! stuff is amazing.

Just watch out on that middle part, where the Acura symbol is. Like suggested before, start in the middle and work you way out on both sides. For some reason I started from the side and made a mess of it. Stretchyness and a lil heat are your friend!

no I did it with 1, but started from the side. So had to cut out slack and ended up with a line through it but you cant see it unless you are close. I am ordering another sheet so I can re do it but if you start from the middle, it should make life a lot easier. Still going to be a pain in the ass. I would do your other parts first to get some practice
