Finally Installed my Wheels

After over of year of my rims sitting in the garage, I finally decided to have them put on.

Volk 19 X 8.5 GT-C, Gunmetal
Koni Yellow shocks
H&R Sport springs
245/35 Nitto Invos

Thanks for everyone who helped me make the decision on what to get.

looking good. nice choice on the wheels. Do the H&R sports give you a visibly noticeable drop? I have a set waiting for my Tl-S. I never see modified TL's where I live, so all I have to reference is pics here on Azine.

Thanks.

I only drove a few miles on those tires so far but the reason I got them in the first place was because of the good feedback on its comfortability and low road noise. So far it has been a big improvement but I suppose anything would feel better than the completely bald potenzas on stock rims I had on before.

Sorry for the bad pics...it was taken on my iphone.

Thanks for the comments

As for the H&R, the drop is pretty noticable. I like it because the wheels sit flush with the wheel well with very little gap. I chose H&R over Eibach because I heard on Eibachs the front sits a bit higher and with H&R the drop is more even. I also had them lower the perch of the koni shocks one notch (not sure if I said it properly) for a more even drop.

The tires do not rub (so far) which was my main concern.

Yea, Ive always liked white. Unfortunately in 05 they only had parchment or grey interior so i opted for the Grey. I really wanted black and would have waited for the 06 if I had known white on black would be available but all the sales guys and managers told me that they didnt think it would be available so I went ahead with the purchase.

Needless to say I was pissed to see that color combo available for 06's. I regret not waiting because I had to wait 3 months for my special order of WDP/6MT/Navi to come in anyways..

O well, I'm happy with what I have

Love the wheels, but the extra $120 for centercaps is worth it

Another WDP in the Bay Area. Great choice in wheels and tires. Love the gunmetal, glad you didn't get black. Hope to see your ride on the road or upcoming meets.

I have the center caps, I just forgot to put them on before taking the pics. I will take a full side view tomorrow hopefully with a better camera.

Thanks for the comments!

Invo's ...

I ordered a set too and have them waiting on my wheels to come in.

Was about to pull the trigger on Pilot Sports and then the shop told me about them. After reading a few test drive reviews on a G35 coupe I went ahead and purchased them based on the cheaper price ha ha!
