Fender Roll'd!

Ok so I'm getting some bigger/better wheels soon.

I got my hands on a brand new fender roller and I wanted to roll the rear fenders a little bit more. It helped out alot that they were pretty much rolled from factory, but I just rolled them a little more, mostly because my buddy was doing his 350Z..

Sorry for the shitty pics, this isnt my DSLR like youve seen in my past pics.

Mounted the Jack Stands--

Mounting the Fender Roller--

Rolling--

Heres the other side..

Heres where you can see what it looks like Stock.. I'm gonna roll em a bit further--

Didnt wanna go to far, but just enough..

and my buddy's Z--

It was rubbing his Wheels like crazzy!! But not anymore!

+2. I need to roll my fenders as well. I've only got my Tein's set about half way. Just is tucking the tread of the tires. Need to go lower. Is it hard to use?? Did you buy the roller or rent it?

My Club bought one-- Very easy to use as long as you have a buddy, a heat gun and pizza/beer. LOL

It couldn't beleive how easy it was!.. I love Acura, the Fenders pre-bent. Some cars arn't like that and its hard to get the bend started.

clean job!

you're right about our fenders..when I had mine rolled, the fender roller thought my fenders were already rolled lol, the problem with the fronts though is that they're so sensitive and a minor roll causes a slight pull

1. Love your garage...
2. Damn you are slammed on coilovers haha.

3. ...did you apply a substantial amount of heat before rolling? cause when you roll your fenders you slightly flare them and you're essentially creating more surface area and the paint WILL crack... a commonly made mistake. Just hoping you applied heat.

Love the pictures of the roller machine. Love the car and the garage. Tire rack sells a roller just like that one if anyone is interested. I would still leave this up to the guys who know what they are doing like the OP. If you do go to far, it's going to cost a lot to fix that mistake!

Looks good man!! I had someone roll my fenders since I didnt want to try it myself.. had bad bad experiences trying to do it myself because i didnt have a heat gun.. but the guy that did it said the TL was one of the hardest he has done because of how thick that lip is.. and hes done ALL kinds of cars.. he said the only other car that was almost as hard was a new gen bmw..

Good SHIT!!!

Come on... you can get the lip flatter than that...

The Acura Fender is like paper compared to a Lexus Fender... I no longer do lexus fenders cause of that... too much work for the $$$....

I'm glad that people are getting busy with their own cars... to the OP...
