Spec pulled through, relined my clutch, repaired both pressure plate and flywheel, and replaced the bearing, one day turnaround, I'm impressed - great customer support. Parts should be back to me early next week. Can't wait to get her back on the road!

Not sure if the cops ever got around to charging him. He only had the state min coverage, so our auto ins company took a hit on the car under collision, but they were awesome, they allowed us to get paid for the garage door first before they took any money towards the car, and didn't charge us a deductible. Way to go Progressive

So the re-worked clutch didn't work out for some reason. I'm guessing either the disc or the pp was damaged during the breakdown. Spec did a great job on the re-work, everything looked new. The car just didn't want to engage into gear. Everything checked out fine, master/slave cyl, no air in the lines, pedal, fork, etc. Must be the clutch.
My parts were out of warranty and Spec had already given me a pretty good deal on the re-work. They didn't disappoint again and offered me a great deal on a brand new clutch and pp to replace the re-worked parts. I couldn't pass it up, parts came in, including a new pilot bearing on top of everything else, and she shifts even better than the first time around 2 years ago. Shifts smoother, feels like it's already broken in and no noises from the bearing this time around.
She's alive again
Of course what's an adventure without surprises along the way? Here's my rear mount:
The front one is not as bad, but along the same way. Side is ok. Ordered new inserts.

Aw man I could have sold you my inserts for cheap. I just bought a set that Gerzand makes and these ones will never break so I have my xlr8 ones left over. I recently found a really torn up front mount insert and have a thread on it. You should post in there too so people know
My new Gerzand ones will not break haha. Also make sure you neutralize your mounts when you put the new inserts in. Cuts down vibration a lot and hopefully won't fail as easy

I'll still take'em as a back up. PM me how much you want for them. I'm hoping gerzands never fail too but this car destroys two things: motor mounts and compliance bushings. The rear mount might be getting damaged by heat from the rear cat, I'm not sure yet.

Yea the motor mounts take a lot of abuse. I'll send you a pm when I get my xlr8 ones out so I know their condition don't want to send you crap ones haha. I'll probably switch them out in a week or so. I went up to 75 with Gerzands version since he said there's very little vibration change from 65 to 75.
I have yet to replace my compliance bushings I'm at 105k miles and last time I checked they only had minor tears

you have nooo idea that and some hondata
Anyone know what I can use to wrap the front and rear motor mounts? I'd like to protect them from the heat coming out of the HFPCs.

IMO CBP looks amazing with silver wheels. Def what I'll be going for. And rockstar is right on the money - featherweight but also good looking

Not sure which wheels yet, I don't have the funds so I haven't shopped around or anything. That would be self-torture
Breaking the clutch in right now, new motor mount inserts on the way, 4-wheel alignment this weekend (sub frame was dropped for clutch), new transmission and brake fluids next weekend. I should probably pick up a cabin air filter too, been about a year now. The car is in really good shape overall, esp for a 9 year old auto with just over 100k miles. Tryin to keep it that way.
Planning to finally pick up hondata soon, and hopefully 2 other things this year
The weirdest shit happens here in FL I swear the news are NEVER boring you're always like
