That is freaking amazing what this guy did to that civic/wrx. I have work on my older cars before a 96 civic hatch back and also a 01 chevy impala but I've never done anything like this!!!

Update3

This is the work that was done in the 3rd weekend we worked on the car. It might not look as much but it was probably the busiest weekend!!!

1st. We needed to grind on the weld spots where it was welded!

Here are some pictures.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/emersont503/6920245844/http://www.flickr.com/photos/emersont503/6920245844/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/emersont503/, on Flickr

This is how it looked after!

This process was done on both sides of the car meaning in the sail panel "near the roof" and also in the rocker panel as well under the car. I did not have a chance to take pictures to show you guys how it was before under the car. But here are some after we grinned the weld spots.

We also sprayed Weld2Prime on the bond which help to keep the corrosion off the car meaning the rust!

We also added under coating to make it look cleaner!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/emersont503/6920251966/http://www.flickr.com/photos/emersont503/6920251966/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/emersont503/, on Flickr

Next we Seam Sealed the inside on the bond, this is what it looks like right now. but we are going to spray undercoat in it as well.

After that we worked on the rocker sections here are some before and after pictures!!!

We later did the same process on the sail panels.

But we are hoping for 2 more weekend for a final product, so stay tuned to see the rest of the progress!!!

All I can say is wow.. beautiful progress! How much have you spent on her so far? And how much do you intend to spend to get her back to stock condition?

holy shit.... look what ive been missing out on... wow awesome work, I wish i had the knowledge to do that kind of work. I would definitely do some one off body work. If you are going to be putting all that jawdropping awesomeness to the car, might as well make it a custom and make it YOURS. But with whatever direction you are going to go, I'm sure the car is in great hands. GREAT WORK!

At this point I have spent over $4,000.00 just on parts I'm also ordering the A spec body kit this week and also the Door visor and a couple more parts which is gonna be another $1,000.00 I'm probably going to spent some $6,000.00 to have a complete car!!!

I've been thinking about doing Wide body work to it! but at this point I'm just focused to bringing it back to the stock condition after that I would consider to start doing so major modification to the car!

I paid $8,000.00 Plus taxes which was around $400.00. Then I ran a Kelly Blue Book value on it and the car was valued at $21,000.00 . Which saves me like $6,000.00!

that sounds interesting ... but I think its impossible to make it happen... not because you wouldn't be able to actually build it... because if you have the passion for it you can do it... but I don't think that a project like that would of been approved by law!

omg that would be beast lol.

so OP, you spent $8000 on the car + $6000 in parts to finish = so $14,000. (i'm guessing labor is free? )
But you forgot to add the endless mods you will end up doing + $$$$$$

Yes that $14,000.00 its just the amount to bring her back to life...

Mods would be another expenses which i already started by ordering the Aspec body kit from the dealer also ordered the all season floor mats and wind guards or AKA door visors.

and yes labor its all free. i work at a body shop and my boss is letting me use hes shop on the weekends.

I already ordered the A-sped body kit today but if I don't like the way it looks I might get the base lip.

^^^ if you are stuck on BMW then i do not know buddy....

otherwise you can go to ebay and get the roof spoiler for ~$50-60 or get the ATLP V1 or V2 for like 200-ish....

Personally i feel the ATLP roof spoiler looks dope !!! makes me wanna sell mine and get that LOL

M3 style roof spoiler same as BMW m3 spoiler... That is why the vendor from ebay is called bmwoemshop ! becasue the parts are bmw parts!

^ pretty sure it is going to cost an arm and a leg at the dealer. Plus there is no telling that the ones that fit the TL have the same dimensions as the ones that fit the BMW.

It rounds about the $150-$170. It might not be the same . but the thing is that the ones from bmwoemshop from ebay are just replicas that they make from the Original M3 spoiler!

Just curious - any reason why you want to go with the OEM M3 one as opposed to the replica? I've had the ebay one for a few years now and I have zero complaints.

Shoutout to Swoosh on that, btw

well not really ... im just trying to get it from the dealer because they deliver to my shop free and if i dont like it i can always returned plus they dont charge me their list price which would be 250.00 I get their discount price which is 170.

but im going to order the one from bmwoemshop on ebay and then im also going to order the one from my local dealer and im going to match them up and see how they both look on the car. that way i can see which one i like better.
