Update3
This is the work that was done in the 3rd weekend we worked on the car. It might not look as much but it was probably the busiest weekend!!!
1st. We needed to grind on the weld spots where it was welded!
Here are some pictures.

This is how it looked after!

This process was done on both sides of the car meaning in the sail panel "near the roof" and also in the rocker panel as well under the car. I did not have a chance to take pictures to show you guys how it was before under the car. But here are some after we grinned the weld spots.

We also sprayed Weld2Prime on the bond which help to keep the corrosion off the car meaning the rust!
We also added under coating to make it look cleaner!

Next we Seam Sealed the inside on the bond, this is what it looks like right now. but we are going to spray undercoat in it as well.

I'm really enjoying the weekly updates! Keep up the good work and can't wait to see the finished product!

holy shit.... look what ive been missing out on... wow awesome work, I wish i had the knowledge to do that kind of work. I would definitely do some one off body work. If you are going to be putting all that jawdropping awesomeness to the car, might as well make it a custom and make it YOURS. But with whatever direction you are going to go, I'm sure the car is in great hands. GREAT WORK!

Thanks we are hoping to have her painted by this weekend!!!
At this point I have spent over $4,000.00 just on parts I'm also ordering the A spec body kit this week and also the Door visor and a couple more parts which is gonna be another $1,000.00 I'm probably going to spent some $6,000.00 to have a complete car!!!
Thanks!!! I try to give you guys the most detailed info on everything I'm doing to it.
I've been thinking about doing Wide body work to it! but at this point I'm just focused to bringing it back to the stock condition after that I would consider to start doing so major modification to the car!

Yes some people say that they wouldn't pay that much for the car... but in my case which I know I can fix it. its definitely worth it. and plus I save some money as well.

that sounds interesting ... but I think its impossible to make it happen... not because you wouldn't be able to actually build it... because if you have the passion for it you can do it... but I don't think that a project like that would of been approved by law!

I already ordered the A-sped body kit today but if I don't like the way it looks I might get the base lip.

otherwise you can go to ebay and get the roof spoiler for ~$50-60 or get the ATLP V1 or V2 for like 200-ish....
Personally i feel the ATLP roof spoiler looks dope !!! makes me wanna sell mine and get that LOL

^ pretty sure it is going to cost an arm and a leg at the dealer. Plus there is no telling that the ones that fit the TL have the same dimensions as the ones that fit the BMW.

It rounds about the $150-$170. It might not be the same . but the thing is that the ones from bmwoemshop from ebay are just replicas that they make from the Original M3 spoiler!
