Well last night at 3:35 am 5 minutes from my house I got hit in the rear passenger side by the tire. And guess what happened, any of you guys know what is a PIT move the police makes, well that s what happened. A dumbass hit me my car lost control because we where on a curve and I lost total control of the car and to make things better (Sarcasm) it was a HIT & RUN. The guy stopped saw my car do a 360 in front of him and then he bailed. I hit the security wall of the expressway and my car is FU****** UP. Well Let the pictures do the talking








And to top it off this HAPPEN. The roof broke, so it has to changed. well you guys now what need to be done.

Tomorrow im taking the car to the shop for an estimate so I can go to my insurance and see what is going to happen. Today I was looking at the car and the panel on top of the rear wheel is cracked, so that is going to have to be change. I think it would be probably almost 10k for the repair. Nothing happen to the motor or the chasis. 2 Doors, 2 rims, panel, roof and airbags + computer will have to be changed. So im hoping all the years of paying full insurance pay off.

I couldn't get any information of the driver, I was tu busy trying to take control of my car, I just know is a white lancer. Probably the guy was drunk or didnt have insurance.

Im ok, nothing happen to me, so that is good.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! That sucks dude, but at least you're OK. I was a victim of a hit-and-run a couple of years ago when some douche scratched my rear bumper. Luckily, someone took down the plate number and we found him a couple of weeks later. He ended up losing his license and paying a 1000$ fine. Wouldn't have cost him nearly as much to repaint my bumper, but payback is a bitch!! Hope you encounter the same luck. As for your car, if the roof is cracked, that's probably a write-off, but we all know how insurance companies work, so good luck! Hope they give you a payout towards another TL!!

What I mean by the roof is inside the car the roof from where the airbag came out. Inside the car they are going to change the whole rood liner.

Roof damage usually is frame damage.... Looks like the car is done man..

he said the roof is not cracked, its the roof line that cracked, you can see it in the last image. thats some nasty damage though non the less..

I understand how accidents happen, but how can you just drive away after causing this? People have died from less than that. Are people that selfish? Can they really pull up in their driveway walk into their house and eat dinner? Tuck their kids in and call it a day? Holy hell. I hope this haunts that driver for the rest of their life.

It's not about money (we all pay for the damages), it's about social responsibility. Even the people that do this crap wouldn't want to live in a world where everyone acts like a complete fuck. These fucking vulcher assholes need to be deported to an island where they can all kill each other. For some reason, they have decided that their life and well being are more important than the others around them. They don't belong in society.

I have no idea how i'd feel if some shit happened to my TL. some people just don't know how to face the consequences, thats some fucked up shit. Atleast you aren't injured right now, and hopefully insurance can re-emburse you in some way. Bad karma will hit that dude back don't even worry about it.

Well guys this is my status:

My car value is probably like 28k. The insurance pays everything and the totaled it out if the fix is more then 60% of its value. Since my fix is all cosmetic, no motor, trans, suspension I have a friend that has a shop that im going to make ti happened.

I ain't losing this car. 23k miles on it and from 08. FUCK NO. I'll make this happened and you guys will see my NBP TL-S with 4 RJ legens Type-1 and a new body kit.

So I hope this can be done. I'll keep you guys posted and thanks for the support and comments.

 

Guys we have some GOOD NEWS

The insurance didnt totaled out my car, so is going to get fixed. And the owner if the body shop and I are working together so I can take buy some RJ's and If I cant I'll buy the roof spoiler.

It will take 11k to fix my car, and the insurance is taking care of it, finally aftyer paying thousands of dollars for years is going to pay off. My car will be in the shop for probably 2 month or so, So Until then and i'll be coming with some good pics hopefully.

 

wow, that looked like a nice Type-S. you should get a KBP paint job to mix things up a bit. good thin your ok, I would have chased the guy down, but thats me (which would probably make things worse).

I would've chase him down, but with a blown up tire I think I couldn't. LOL. I couldn't see the license plate because I did like a 580. But the important thing is my car will be back with some RJ's and it going to get fixed.

Well after a couple of month I got my car back in October. Been super busy and my camera did not work. A friend lend me his and I got a few minutes to snap the pictures.

Because of the accident I talked to the Shop owner and I told him I would bring the car if I get new rims. So the deal happen and this is what I ordered:

This is how the car looks now. I lowered on some Tein S Techs and I like the feel of the car, so im happy with it. I have to be very careful with bumps, plus I have the mud flaps installed.
