Was thinking the same thing. One guy puts it on and everyone hates it. If the "right" person does it, everyone jacks off to it.

I have had mine on for a year and have put 30,000 miles on the car with it... no tearing, ripping, falling off here... just sayin... it looks really good, is really cheap, easily replaced if I were to drive my lowered TL over a parking curb, unlike your a-spec... so hey as it always goes around here... Hmmm.......well, I have had A-spec front spoiler on for over 3 and have put more than 30,000 miles on the car with it... no tearing, ripping, falling off here either.... just sayin... it looks really, really good, matches my paint. Designed for my car, and is really not that expensive. I would never need to replace it. Since i know how to drive and park a lowered vehicle. Guys please stop this non-sense!!!!!!! Lol! If you want a bodykit/spoiler...save up and get the real thing.

But you're right, as it always goes. if you guys like it do it! So here's another one for those on the fence,

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

mine fell off after 2500 miles. it was quite embarassing actually. i was driving to DC from NY with my brother and 2 very good looking girls in the back seat. at some point during the trip we heard some flopping noise. i thought it was a flat tire so i pulled over. it was the HD lip. i ripped the rest of it off and it is now somewhere on the side of the NJ turnpike. explaining what and why i had that on my car to those girls was really awkward.

never will i invest in a mod like this again. im saving for the real thing.

the reason im doing it because

1. I like the way it looks
2. i cracked my Aspec kit on the front side.

The RL A-Spec kit is not cheap period and I dont want to replace it. maybe this will cover up the crack and may add a little spice to the kit

my flame suit is on...but we will see in the morning lolol

Do you have a part number. I don't think you realize their is not just one garage door weather stripping, there are over a dozen of them.

Red face Here goes nothing...

Well this shit is fucking cheap lmao..

it would not stay for nothing lolol

but after a few things I finally got it to stay on

Feedback:

overall I like the look. Reminds me of DTM Racing lol

Here is a pic. But you cannot really see it much...

Don't mind my donut. NYC FTL. Rim is getting fixed today

Here is a video for a better view if that helps

I'm not sure if I'm seeing it clearly but it looks good. The only adjustment that I would make is to have the hd-lip follow the lines and curves of the a-spec more. Where the middle section of the a-spec curves into the outer sections that house the fogs. Does that make sense?

Ok do this.
1. Most important, get that HD lip idea OUT of your head!
2. Remove that cheap piece of rubber
3. Buy a new spoiler and install, or
4. Remove the spoiler
5. Take the spoiler to a qualified shop to have it repaired and re-sprayed.
6. Get some thin 3M high strength adhesive and Re-install the fixed spoiler.
7. Done!

Sorry if I'm being an ass, but that front end is so sexy! Keep it classy dude!
