Have fun, I drove my TL from San Diego, to Jacksonville, then up the east coast to Maine all within a week. It was a blast, The TL is such a comfortable highway cruiser. I was averaging 31MPG most of the time.

Sorry about the shitty photo skill and all the pics is taken with Iphone 4 during driving.
in CT early morning
hit Tapanzee bridge
PA u suck big ball, I got stuck here for 1 1/2 hours standing still. So much for the good MPG I achieved.
moving again in PA.
just cross into state of MD
hit West VA and the gas price was socking to me lol.
long ass drive in VA but the scenery was beautiful.
saw my CT fellow also moving and I just wave at him after that. I saw many CT plate moving down south either in car, car and Uhaul trailer or Penske truck
gas price in VA they also have a promotion going on every Friday when premium is same price as mid-grade.
Tennessee welcome you!
my MID showing range for alittle less than a tank full.
Knoxville TN my windshield is dirty as hell from juicy bug.
its time to end day one of driving.
Beautiful big lake in Chattanooga TN.
cross into GA
Hey how come that guy does not have a plate? lol obviously its a military convoy. In AL
my first encounter with a 3rd gen TL.
near outskirt of Birmingham AL
welcome to Mississpoor, I felt very unsecure when travel through this state. I only stop to use the rest room and I felt much safer if I had a 9 mm on me. The name I giving this state because the whole state is some what poorer than all the state I had been to.
No cop patrol the highway in Mississippi = 85-90 mph
open road = destroy your MPG
crazy driver some how manage to flip a FWD car.
open road again
almost out of Mississippi last exit into NASA space center.
crossing the bridge in Baton Rouge LA
in LA
a series of long bridge over swamp land and a lake in LA prior entering Lafayette.
crossing lake Charles LA
0.3 mile left of LA territory and will cross into TX state line.
Finally good old Houston down town appear on the horizon I always flew in never got to experience the view from driving in via I-10 interstate.
Accident on I-10 and I was like "you got to be kidding me" but then I remember that I m in H town where there always a road that run parallel to the interstate but for local stop.
All of this crap has to fit inside my TL and I hope my MPG is good.
after two days of driving.
Notice added:
1. Speed limit increase from 65mph to 70 mph after crossing into West VA.
2. I was doing 90-120 mph in TN trying to get to Chattanooga and I wasn't alone there are two more car was going at that speed, one has FL and the other has GA plate. I was hoping that no deer coming out since we travel at that speed.
3. I could swing by Atlanta GA but choose not to since its will cost me another 50 miles extra.
4. he two state I don't like the most is PA and MS.
5. Speed limit of TX is 75 mph (I love TX already)
6. most southern people I encounter speaking in southern accent is some what nicer than people living in the north.
7. The entire trip cost me 5 gas tanks FULL. 1st fill up in PA, 2nd fill up in VA, 3rd fill up in TN, 4th fill up in AL and last fill up in LA. looks like the magic number to get good MPG is around 75-80mph any thing higher than that then your MPG will plunge. BTW I have cargo fill the trunk and interior of the car along with AC on at ALL time and yet still get 28 MPG gotta love this out date SOCH motor.
