s30020215, I love the gold XXRs and was actually thinking about getting these when I was shopping for mine. You definitly succeded in going aggresive. Is your accord lowered? I think with a little lower stance and a kit that widens the profile of your accord, and it will look like a beast! My

Yeah man...you may actually need to get a camber kit to ADD negative camber!
But I guarantee you if you do...you'll end having nothing but positive posts in here...I already know it. Super low and super wide get props on this site...

Holy shite. I would've went with 8.75" all around....unless you plan on slamming that thing so the fenders are down the wheel lips. Doesn't look like you do though...

Well nobody has reported any major issues but one must also consider why the cost is so low. Many will tell you that you get what you paid for and others will also say that these are good bang for the buck. You decide.

Here's one experience that I've had with my XXRs and you can make your own decision regarding their strength. First, I did not do this...it was a tech that worked for the shop I got my camber kit and alignment done at.

The tech goes for a test drive and hit the curb right where the sidewalk starts to dip for the drive way. He hit it pretty good, enough to rip a chuck of side wall off my tire. The edge of the rim got a good dent, but no bend or leaks in the wheel. Rear wheel got some nice curb rash too. However, I will point out that I run 235/40/18 on my wheels, so the tires may have helped mitigate the damage. Also, I live near some bad roads in SoCal and can say I've hit a few pot holes pretty bad too, but I'm sure these aren't as bad as those in NYC. Hope this helps.

I just ordered these wheels today from a local shop. 18x8.75 et20...I'm lowered on eibach pro's with stock struts which is about 1.5"...does anyone with this wheel have the same suspension set up? I think the user with the h-techs may be my best bet? The reason I purchased these wheels was strictly because of this thread. Thanks for all the input guys!!

I'm not sure specifically how much room I have up front, but the 235s have plently of room. The only concern I have is if the tires will rub the inner portion of my wheel wells. I'll do a test fit at the shop first, but I think I'll be fine.

^^^ I'm gonna ask a dumb question here, but why are you going to 245's if the ones you have now are fine with no issues? I guess you want to go wider?

Side note, I ordered mine last night, 18x8.75 (+35) in flat black.

Yes, that's the only reason I'm going for 245s, more contact on the pavement.

FYI: 55gc8, in SoCal a lot of the wheel shops are out of certain 527s because of back orders from XXR. I also called XXR and they said they are on back order on most of their popular wheels until early to mid April. Good Luck
