No, in every episode of TO CATCH A PREDATOR that's what the underage kid would say...they'd call out from upstairs.
I miss that show...it was creepy as fk but I loved seeing those fkn perverts get nailed.

You clowns are ruining my highly organized thread

Anyways, I met up with my friend who just got a 2012 Mustang 5.0. It's a 6-speed with the Brembo package. Black on black and he already has a Roush axle-back exhaust as well as a X-pipe.

I've never been a huge Mustang fan but I'm head over heels for this car. I love it.

I haz videos and will be posting those whenever I get around to editing them.

Here's a shot showing off mah new rear calipers. No more rust

And only in Cary do you find a golf cart in a restaurant parking lot...

Also, the night after I met up with Mustang boy, we drove an hour south to a drag strip. The pictures turned out TERRIBLE but I'll be posting those shortly.

Bitch I told you I would post them once I edited them. I have three separate videos I need to cut and then blend into one video. THEN it has to be uploaded to YouTube.

Tyler...so he thought it'd be worth it to get the brakes but not the projectors!?! WTF!!!
I know when they first came out you couldn't even buy them and install yourself separately. They make ALL The difference in the look of that car.

Either way, BEAST of a motor...a nice little slam on that sucker and he'll be in bidness though. Probably sounded awesome.

Anil don't talk about your car like that

J, he got a killer deal on that car so he couldn't be too picky with the options. It's pretty much just a Base 5.0 with the Brembo package. No navi, no leather, etc.

He plans on lowering it within the next few months but he's having more fun with power mods as of right now.

^^^ ohh you silly silly boi LOL....

well if you out there making a GTR killer, TL should NEVER be your weapon on choice....

but if you just out there and do highway runs with M3/SS/Mustangs/S4/S5 and for some turbo folks M5 and Corvettes, i think the TL will do pretty good...

btw my car did hang with a 2010 Mustang 5.0 V8 from a 50mph highway roll all the way upto 110 where we stopped and he had a 1/2 car length on me

Thanks for the vid, Ty. I won't be the popular opinion, but I'm not a fan of that exhaust sound. I think there are some better options for a much deeper growl for the 5.0.

But very impressive take offs.

Yea, not feeling the exhaust either. It might just be the test pipes.

Tyler what lens have you been playing around with lately? You probably mentioned it but that would mean I would have to jump back like ten pages...

WELL THEN SEARCH...GEEZ

Right now my setup is a Nikon D3100 with a Tamron 18-250. It's a great lens for every day use when you have no idea what you'll be taking pictures of BUT with a f-stop of 3.5-6.3, it's terrible for low light, especially when you don't have a tripod.

I'll be posting pictures in a bit of when I went to a track with the Mustang guy. You'll see how grainy the pictures are. I'm hoping to get a Nikkor 35mm f/1.8 sometime this year so I can get better night shots.

Searching takes effort, I'd rather help you reach 100 pages

Tamron makes a good lens. I used to own their 18-200mm but I sold it to upgrade to the Canon 70-300 USM IS lens which I freaking love. The 35/1.8 is a good lens but you should also consider the 50/1.8 if you don't already have it. I that lens.

J. You can call it whatever you want

I've been itching to get a new lens and I either want something with a low f-stop for low light situations or a wide angle.

GET THE TAMROM 17-50!!! I love mine, its so versatile and has a low f stop too. Though, wide angle lenses are awesome.

I wouldn't worry about the f-stop as much as the practicality of the actual lens. It depends on what you will be using it for. Most low aperture lenses are fixed focal, unless you are dropping some serious money for a zoom lens. The Tamron 17-50mm is a really good choice for a wide variety of shots. In all honesty, f/2.8 is more than adequate for casual use, unless you plan on doing portraits

Ive pretty much used the 17-50 non stop since I bout it a few months ago. I use it at night too (thats what I used for the headlight pictures), I just bumped up the ISO. Granted, that last bit depends on the cameras ISO performance.

Entry level SLRs are never high performers in low-light high ISO situations, but it's doable, and with a little editing in PS or Lightroom, you would be good to go. But the low f-stop certainly helps...

See that's what I want to accomplish; clear and crisp pictures in low-light situations with little or no editing needed.

Warning: Most of these pictures are TOTAL shit. I rarely shoot and night and these pictures show it. I tried my best to salvage them via editing but it barely helped.

On the way to the track, we spotted Stickers driving his new car...

Big family much?...

Hella black and white yo...

At the track...

R32...

Right after this picture was taken, this guy almost smacked the wall about 150 feet after launching. He didn't return to the track until much later that night...

CCWs

Twins!...

I took a picture to show it off but it didn't turn out well. This thing was supercharged...

5.0 with a Boss 302 intake manifold and other goodies...

A dad and his younger son (16-18 years old) had been taking turns racing this thing all night. The son lost traction between 2nd and 3rd gear; the rear kicked out right and he bounced off of the wall...

He was alright and was able to drive it off of the track...

The bumper fell off and that's all the damage I could see...

Painters tape ftw ...

TEAL!!!!!!!

I don't think this kid was older than 8 or 9...

Engine bay of ^that Cobra...

Lots o' Mustangs that night...

'12 vs '13...

I really like the headlights...

So yeah, I can't shoot at night to save my life. It probably didn't help that I was far away from the cars, standing on bleachers, but I'm still not happy about the pictures.

I took almost 400 pictures and these are the only ones I kept
