He ordered someone else's blown one off of ebay. This should go well!

Y'all better lookout with the throwing around of the "F" word. I know we're all joking with each other but on an open forum it could be offensive and frowned upon.

Like J said below, I got it off of eBay. A brand new one would be ideal but I couldn't justify spending $300+.

I'll be getting it today so I hope it fixes the static problem!

Getting a used one is risky but might be worth it. The static is unbearable.

And shut up you FAntatstic guy

...

The amp I bought off of eBay cured the static problem!

It was $60 plus $15 shipping. I bought it almost immediately after it was posted for sale. Here's who I got it from:

Here's the old one:

The amps are made by Panasonic. You can also see the build date on this sticker:

Of course (I thought) I put everything back together and then I found this fugger in my pocket :

I'll be using this stuff next weekend:

And here is Cosmo. He's in the cage because he shit on my floor

Glad you got that fixed, now you can listen to music again without going insane!

Amen to that Austin! The static was driving me nuts. Even without the static, the old one needed replacing. I had to crank the volume to 30 just to hear it while driving with the windows down.

And eff Cosmo. I took him outside, he acted like he was done, so we went back in. Not even 5 minutes later I find a poop on the ground, so we go back outside. He just walks around and eventually lays down, so we go back inside. I get a drink from the fridge and he's hunched over in the corner taking another dookie. Fuggin dogs

The new one at 15-20 was what the old one was at 30-35.

Exactly

Have fun replacing it though. Two 10mm bolts at the bottom wasn't hard but there's a 10mm nut up top that the amp hangs from and it's a bitch to get to. It's not terrible, took me less than an hour, but I'm impatient.

I am too. I almost quit replacing my upper fog bulbs because I couldn't get them to turn.

Went inside and took a drink, put on mah rage face and went back outside.

Come on, you bitch!

And it finally started to turn.

I wonder how much torque Austin's little girl arms actually generate at full rage...?

Tyler...so happy it worked, man. The whisper song really isn't the same if listened to at low levels

Probably as much torque as your manly arms at 1/8 rage.

Glad the new amp fixed your problem. That top bolt was a pain, but I just loosened it enought to wiggle the old amp out and slide the new one back in. I don't think I would have been able to get the bolt back in if I took it out completely.

Adam. Thank you sir!

I did the same with the upper bolt, just loosened it enough to unhook the top part of the amp. That 10mm bolt is from the bottom of the amp on the left side closer to the engine. It's easy to put back but I'm lazy
