It isn't easy to see 20" everyday. I won't move it to PHOTO subF until this weekend is over.

i'm usually not a fan of big chrome rims, but these look real nice. the black is beautiful.

what size tires are you using? they make the 20's look smaller. are those firestones? i'm guessing from the tread, can't read the label on the tire

Congrats on the new rims. Not a good match for the TL, IMO. Are they spinners?

Iyyeee... spinners too...

I think spinners belong on trucks or SUV if at all. Same with 20's. Makes it look like a Hotwheel.

Car looks AWESOME...but I don't like the chrome wheels, they're too big for the car, and look too cheesy....OK for a rock star or basketball player, but just look too "rice" for me. The car looks awesome...what do you use on the finish??? That NBP sure looks great when it's clean and polished.

Those rims are too big for the car. The TL itself in black is gorgeous though....moving to gallery.

one day, someone will put 20's on a tl with the right offset and the right design and it will look amazing... and if it has to be me, so be it.

Sorry, doesn't work. I think it cheapens the clean lines and stance of the TL.

hey nice... can you give Me since no one really digs 20's on TL.. but dont feel bad. its just that everyone here is into 19's and or less. But its HOT... and like someone said here also.. what kinds of tire size is it. That for some reason it makes it look small. Can you give the specifications on your set up..

Tire size and make
Wheel brand and Off set

and if you can give us some info on the ride.. does it feel too heavy? did u choose those tires so you dont feel the harf bumps alot? do they rub? even with 3 people in back?

Thanks.. just eager cus i want to get some.. but plain silver to keep them lighter. and sicnce 20 run a bit cheaper at times or almost the same as the ODDS 19's.

yeah....you really need some custom Iforged or HRE's to make the 20's work on this car. I myself have been back and forth between 20" Iforged or 19" Volks. I have been waiting for someone to do it first, so I can see, but that seems impossible. I have seen the 19" Volks but no 20" IForged. Also I agree with the silver center w/ a polished, or chrome (for easier cleaning) lip to keep it sporty (please no more fully chromed wheels).

Like most everyone else on this thread, the car looks great but those wheels look horrendous on your TL. Hope you didn't spend too much on em! I think on a car like the TL a muted setup is much more attractive than a chrome "hey look at me!" setup. Just my 2 cents!

As our Fellow TLers Say ... Nice Car... black like mine.. but man..
Stock rims can look so much smoother... The TL should not become a "Ghetto" mobile,
check mine out.. and tell me what you think... see what an 18 inch rim can do... it doesnt stand out.. and chrome wheels are disgusting.. unless on SUVs or Trucks as the other dude said... you know whats hot... Chrome Lip....that goes in deep... then a regular silver or black rim... thats hot... but those... im sorry to break it down to you.. makes it look cheap... but hey... who am i to say shit about your car... after all its your car.. you obviously earned it.. weather your parents bought it or not.. keep your head up.. dont feel bad.. just :blaze: ,, that would put a smile on your face =P

I wouldn't say the 04 TL doesn't look right in 20" and greater wheel sizes, take the 04 TL A-Spec Concept for example. I thought it looked fuckin hot on 21s. But I would say that daylight's rims dont match the car well.

DUDE, I'M SORRY TO SAY THAT THE RIMS YOU PUT ON YOUR CARE ARE THE FUGLIEST THINGS I HAVE EVER SEEN AND LIKE LIKE ASS. DO YOU WANT THE STATUS OF A BIG PIMP. :blaze: :ghey: I MEAN, WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING AND THE GALL OF YOU TO DEFAME AND CANNABLIZE A LUXURY/SPORT VEHICLE AS BEAUTIFUL AS THE TL WITH THOSE GHETTO WHEELS. MIGHT AS WELL HAVE 8 12" SUBS AND RUST ALL OVER THE CAR AND CALL IT A GHETTO BLASTER. :killer:

The ride is nice no bumps. The tire size is too big, I need to change it. Its 255/35/20. I will change it to 245 but it rubs alittle not that much but if i change it to 245 i think it might make a difference. The ride does feel heavy alittle too, but its really smooth.

I thought 19"s were the biggest you could put on the car? What size offset did you need?

Thanks

that tl concept has flared fenders, thats why those 21's look like a wet dream. but talking concept opens up a whole new story cause your talking about someone who has no budget to build their car.

Yeah, that looks hot but the concept body is much wider than the actual production model. The completely different aggressive body kit helps those large rims look good with the car also.
