Damn man that sounds really good. I have just stage 1 done. Would you recommend resonator delete? I mainly want to have that roar you hear from outside the car when its coming towards you. Sounds like sex.

Idk if I should move up to stage 3 instead of res delete. I don't want to submerge in water and worry about water gettin in the intake. Whatchu think

I myself don't plan on installing a test pipe or J pipe any time soon so that's y I deleted the resonator, once I start getting into my exhaust I will be purchasing one so it all depends on u and ur plans. I have a CAI as well and really wouldn't worry about hydro lock man, as long as u stay out of 3 foot deep puddles ur good bro.

u could always add a resonator later bro, it's easy enough. y not save the money and see how u like it first, this isn't an expensive mod ($80) a really nice dynomax resonator is under $60 lol. let me know when u end up doing

since I have tomorrow off of work I'm going to get up early and modify my stock front side markers by replacing the amber LEDs with white ones. I will be posting pics of the process and also the final result

Exhaust mods sound wise vary a great deal from hearing it from inside and outside the vehicle.

The video inside the car makes the exhaust sound good, but listening to it from outside the car, stage 4 makes the car sound like it's missing something (no pun intended) and it also introduces a little bit of rasp.

oh yea of course there is some rasp but very minimal. if I don't get on it u hear none whatsoever but in my vids I wanted to show everyone that even under heavy throttle the rasp is very little

Yeah, it's very minimal under heavy load. If you add a J-pipe that deletes the 3rd cat, forget about it, central then with no resonator installed.

those are in the plans but a resonator will obviously be installed at the same time. for now though I'm pretty happy with the result. maybe ill make another video of normal driving conditions, car sound stock with the exception of a deep growl that's alittle louder than stock. until I got on the gas hard my buddy thought my exhaust still sounded like stock lol

I really dislike the Depo side markers so modifying my stock ones only seem right

Hey man just wanted to let you know that I ended up deleting the intake resonator and it did make it sound a little better with the stage 1. I haven't fully heard it with the windows down cuz it's still kinda cold and windy but I love it as of now so far. Especially from the outside on wot. I had my girl floor it and it sounds awesome !! Didn't expect it to sound that good. Inside driving sounds a little more purr while driving. Not sure if u have seen my thread pics yet but ima try and get videos soon too.

lol thanks mane appreciate it. I'm just tryin to keep up wit you guys and everyone else on here. Kinda cool how our cars are identical but depending on the mods it can change the look drastically. Your car is on it's way already to a mean mother ****** once you slap some wheels bro. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

I dunno man maybe. but in all honesty ur car is perfect and I wouldn't change a thing. I need to have alot of my mods redone as well trying to keep up with everyone lol. my car has been a nightmare and continues to be. this weekend is my side marker mod, rewrapping my grill in CF, and trying to get my front lip to fit better. one side is overlapping into my wheel well as well as the gaps under my headlights since its on a base '08 bumper. wish me luck.... I'm gunna need it

just a teaser of my white sidemarker led mod. 2 5000k LEDs and 330 ohm resistors were used and soldered in for a completely oem looking install as well as no fear of hot spots or them burning out due to voltage spikes. my shitty iphone camera makes them look weird but let me assure u they are white with no blue tint as was my original worry but paperboy hooked me up

vleds.com and wire them in ur trunk so the brake light signals, it's alot easier and hidden behind the carpet on the sides of the trunk
