ok so I installed my new 6000k 10 led drl bulbs from vleds and am very satisfied, they look great, very bright and are extremely white even though they look yellow in my iphone pics.
also I reinstalled my type s front lip since the guy who installed it initially had huge gaps under the headlights and also extended past the fender on the driverside and into the wheel well about 3/4 of an inch, I wasn't happy non the less. bluetl04 and i took care of it and as usual a big thanks to him
more updates to come once my bank account allows

thanks just alittle something for now. finally gunna get around to all of mods in the next couple weeks. u know how priorities take over. the big three are tints with mokeskin, drop, and painting those couple parts
yea finally lol. next is trying to tint those damn blinkers on my mirrors. I've seen how good that oracle 8300 smoke tints looks but can't find where to buy it online. and that damn independent fog mod that I can't seem to find another way for it to work for 07-08's without cutting into the hid fog harness

Dude, I missed your build thread. Whoops, very nice progress.
And to be honest...for such a g'dang sexy color, I've often wondered why people didn't do MORE color matching the grill/headlight/Tail bezels. Seriously.
Great work. My favorite TL color, hands down.

I've said it before and ill say it again.... thanks man it really means alot coming from guys like u who have such sick TLs man. it's people like u who got me to start modding my car in the first place. I totally agree with color matching trim, no matter what color 3rd gen I dunno why more people don't pull the trigger on it, to be honest I can't wait to get this drop done lol so I can order my aspec sides and have all this shit painted at once. I'm just gunna have to bother Eddie (bluetl04) more to give me a hand with the coils since I really don't wanna tackle it myself lol. not to mention he's done it multiple time with his and his girls TLs

the way your ride is looking very nice.
But you will be suprised how easy the coil install will be. I don't
know If you know but (heeltoe) has a diy vid on his web site
showing top hat install on the coils. I just did mine 2weeks
ago and not hard at all, just time consuming. But you'll have
fun doing it. RICH

yea well me too haha. thanks, its always good to hear from u bro, gotta hook up a CBP meet lol. will be picking up my coilovers tomorrow after work and also just found out that my top hats and hardware just shipped but the tracking info is still unavailable so there's no telling when that'll be arriving. goals this weekend are to at least build my coils and get everything laid out and if this package arrives in time then a 3 day weekend install is a possibility but if not then definitely next weekend cuz I wanna start focusing on getting these apsoec sides and other parts painted

I pass a type s on my way to work every day and I know an old lady drives it. I'm gonna stop by one day just to see if she would b willing to let me buy the sides off her. She has the type s kit all the way around and she probably doesn't even know it exists lol. What a shame
#355
I agree, the used stock type-s ones I have had run their course and not to mention after my little blunder where I damaged one I've started to despise them lol. it's not very noticeable since my body guy jerry rigged it for now but I still know it's busted and want them gone.

well the good news is that my top hats, bar links, and hardware all shipped yesterday from oemacuraparts.com, the bad news is that they arnt expected to be delivered till next Wednesday sucks but oh well, will attempt to install that weekend if I can get a hand from someone
small update coming later on today so be sure to check back
