Be careful when taking apart your 3G for mods.. [GRAPHIC] [NSFW] (just kidding)

Haven't done many mods in 2013 besides paint my rims. But a friend of mine who drives a fusion ( , but hes trying to get something jdm. Also my indian friend in my build thread that helped me paint my rims) wired some LED footwells in his car and told me he had some strips left over. He's pretty good with wires so we decided to do my 3g. Well anyways long story short we did it, it's pretty good. So then I was looking at my car and remembered that I had one light in my car that wasn't LED. The passenger side vanity. I just couldn't pry the little cover off.

Well i went at for a little bit. When i finally got i open.. well this grossed me out since I was sitting on the center console arm rest and it was right in my face

Yeah thats a dead spider.

But just a little tip for anyone doing vanity.. i was working with this thread (https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/diy-vanity-light-removal-pictures-868291/) and the methods are great i popped my driver side out easily. But the passenger side I CLEARY pushed the tab in.. so much that I bent it. And the plastic cover was.. still stuck somehow? So I had to pull it out pretty hard and then rebend the tab back so the whole fixture worked right.

Pics of footwells and vanity
ps i put a hole in my headliner from the dang light being so difficult

led footwells are great, as long as you keep your carpets clean haha. i have an 07 tls so it has stock dim red lighting, if it was any brighter it would show all the dirt on my carpets lol
