air brushed to give it the CF kinda look, then cleared. That's what think. You can clearly see the wiper fluid reservoir symbol and the lines on the plastic covers. If it were real CF that wouldn't be there. Trust me I know. Lol!
I could make you a "REAL" one out of 2X2 twill weave if you like.

So, CF-look is more accurate to say... 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the interior OEM console panels and trim are CF-look and not really CF, so that's not a knock to the OP. But whatever, I like it. After seeing THIS video, I tried it myself and it's actually not that bad for a DIY job with rattle cans (as opposed to a decent airbrush). A whole hood or roof like that is a little ricey, but tasteful application of accents here and there are gtg.

I still have to wait on 3 more parts the 2 fender lines and the fuse box cover then ill post more pix but dude do me a favor if ur going to knock dont post dont like dont look

I believe I did clearly say I wasn't trying to knock dude. from the lighting and angle in the pic it doesn't look real. And I'm not the only person in the thread who is basically saying the same. And if you look back in earlier posts I even asked if you had it dipped by the site I mentioned. And to boot I never said it didn't look bad either. If you're gonna come and post up pics of your work be prepared for criticism whether it be good or bad. It should actually make you strive harder for more out of what you do to your car. You might as well title the thread "Like my work before looking at it and only leave positive comments"!!! Good luck with that.

Covers look pretty slick to me. And please fellas enough with the bickering. We all know people have different opinions of different stuff. I like chocolate you like vanilla. You're not gonna be able to convince one another to like the others preference. But when on the open forums you do have to be prepared for negative comments.

looks good... if its painted just say so in the beggining... now jptl04 has some sweet CF engine bay stuff seen it a few months back id love to do something like that... but that means one more area of my car that i will have to keep clean haha and for now i dont wana clean the engine
