i got into an accident with a taxi cab in feb 2010 so when the body shop was fixing my car i had them replace it with the base bumper instead of the type s. i wanted a cleaner look
sorry i have not tried it. but my friend tried it and he said the type s lower grills wont work with the base bumper. im not a fan of the base lower grills either
I have to bump you up so new members can see how fresh your car is.
Quick question, have you tried fitting the type s honey comb lower grille on the base bumper? I will be converting my 04 WDP real soon and man,... main reason why I am leaning towards the type s is because I do not like the base's lower grille.

Have to ask; Why HID reverse bulbs? Constant on/off switching isn't good for the ballast, I dunno how long they'd last.

yes i have the sarona...but mine is shaved down so it sits flush with the roof. if it not shaved down it has a step look to it
just wanted to do something different no one in my area has it and plus i got it wired to a switch so if someone is tailgating me ill blast them with the reverse. i have the hid reverse hooked up to a delay box so it doesnt flicker when i go from park to drive. i believe mine is on a 5 second delay

if i didnt have 3k hid fogs i would...without the overlay looking straight at the fogs their not even yellow. they have a yellow output on the road but they look more white with just a yellow tint
