Black&WHITE TL?!?!?!

haha. for now... They look pretty clean... took about a couple re-do's on sanding since i painted in the cold This is a really easy task. I DID IT MYSELF.. People thought i got it PC'd. No drips whatso-ever.. just gotta take your time. The hardest part was sanding(boy was it a pain the in the ass)

If you guys have any questions, feel free to ask me.

Enjoy the pics!

Nice work!! I was thinking of doing this to my OEM's as well with a mat finish. Then just for fun adding a red strip along the edge making it look like Volks Time Attacks..haha!!!

What tire size are you running??? They look like a much lower profile tire compare to OEM size.

i dont know, i kinda like the unpainted center caps, especially with the unpainted lugs. i know i have seen others like this with the painted center cap and i wasnt as big of a fan. either way they look great.

And yes, i am running OEM tires.. Currently has 38k on them, first set of tires also.

lol. thnx bro. Try to look for salvaged TL's with black interior and do an interior swap.. And i'm pretty down for a photoshoot, but it's Chinese New years on Thursday, and i think mom wants me to be home..

HAHA. This is coming from the guy that did his wheels black and inspired me to do it.. Ay bro, change your name to INPIRATEIN... Without you, I don't think i'd be doing such mods and going all out.. You are like, the dude to set the limit of the TL, and i admire that. Taking risks on wether the mod will work or not... Props to you Eric.

So anyways, to answer your question... I FIRST used Low Gloss Caliper paint, it looked REAL good, no lie.. It was like matte black, but too bad I only had 1 can of those, so for my 2nd coat i used the Semi-Gloss Caliper Paint from duplicolor...

O man. SO because I thought about your TL, I was like.. hmm, I remember st04Louis getting hella shit about his center caps.. should I do mine too? Well, I found another solution to that.. But I will need extra center caps just in case I don't like it.. I would Paint the SILVER part around the "A" black, and then paint the insides of the "A" Silver... I think it would look pretty clean and unique. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK??

I never had the OEM 17's so ive never seen a center cap up close.
If the "A" is indented into the cap it would be too easy. Paint the whole thing black wait for all that to dry, then take a syringe and fill in the "A" with the silver paint.

Should look good.

You never did suspension install but you manage to get that done so anything is possible. I'll be doing mine soon.
