Hot Day...3 Random shots...
I was driving by some kind of storage facility and, like the title says, I decided to take a few random shots with my iphone 4. Just thought I'd share - It's too damn hot to do anything else!!

u need to tone down the black lol the headlights look horrible...do you have them tinted?
With your current setup the bumper fogs look awkward because thats the only shiny thing on the front end of your car.

Currently I have bluebat partial overlays - I know that the proper way is to open the lights up, and if all goes according to plan, they'll be blacked out properly tomorrow...like everyone from Steven Bell to CLtotheTL32 I see bluebats as a nice temporary mod.

Liking the blacked out front!
Not a huge fan of the headlight overlay, but kudos for it just being temporary.
You blacking out your headlights yourself?
And indeed it's been hot as hell out =(

Also, need my headlights done too.
How much does he charge?
If it's a lot I'd rather do it on my own lol

Yes I found him through chizo. The light guy charges $200 which I think is a fair price, seeing as how JnC and AckTL05 both charge $150 for the work, and the shipping itself for us Canadians would be well over $200 total (both ways).
ok much better loll your first 3 pics are horrible...this completely changes my perception on the car lol
cars looking perfect except the tint on the headlights and sidemirrors
Thank you sir...hopefully HOTTER now!!
Anyway, anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE working on my car, and that having to pay someone to do work on it kills me. This being said, headlights stand out on a car, and while I would probably have done an OK job on my first attempt at this, I preferred the work of someone who has been modding headlights for over 7 years...While I felt utterly useless watching someone else work on my car, I put my pride aside and enjoyed talking cars with the guy while he worked, knowing the end result would be well worth it. While I liked my bluebats, and sorry Andy in advance, taking apart the headlights and blacking them out from the inside, is definitely the way to go for the long term. Also, while the lights were removed, I also upgraded my DRLs with some brighter and whiter halogens. Thanks to all the Ziners whose hating on my overlays helped speed up what I was inevitably going to do at some point.
Here are some before, during, and after pics of my setup. Thanks again to everyone for their comments.

^sorry some fingers got in the way^
I'm really happy with the end result!!!!!

Looks great!
ch1zo recommended him to me early 2011 but for the price I was like nah lol
The only part I think I'll have trouble with is getting the headlights opened.
The prepping and painting should go smooth and replacing the diffusers should go well too.

I'm pretty confident in my abilities like you, but IF I messed up, I would have been one unhappy individual, and I didn't want to risk it. I wish you good luck with yours!!

Nice ride
Nice ride ... you must have some deep pockets (and an understanding wife) to be able to do all those mods/upgrades within 6 months of buying the car I'm sure it helps that you did most of the work yourself. Looks like the only thing left to do is a Sarona roof spoiler.

ur ride is looking fawking hot BigPZ!!
the whole setup flows very nicely.
ur grill looks like it's wrapped in gloss black...either that or you spray painted it and the clear coated it (sorry if you already stated this info). i want to do this on my WDP but don't think it will look all that great. thinking about just going a matte black. anyway, your grill looks money my friend.

LOL!!
Tyler, I saw this guy at a meet the night before this pic was taken, and he was breaking my balls about the fact that we live pretty close to one another, yet he's never seen me on the road before...Irony or what?

Since my last post, I wrapped my headlights with bluebat partial overlays while I figure out how exactly I want to black them out for the long term. (I currently have slight fogging issues, which will have to be remedied sooner rather than later). I also tinted the turn signals on my mirrors. The installs were pretty straight forward, but it took me a lot longer for the headlights. With the mirror turn signals, you can heat the vinyl, stretch it to fit, then trim the excess. The partial headlight overlays cannot be stretched too much, or you will deform the cutout for the HIDs.
Some pics I took after a good wash(note the fogging mentioned above)
It's starting to look properly BLACK!!!
I also finished wrapping my front grille shortly after I took the above pics. (SharksBreath thanks again for your advice - This dude seems to know everything about everything with these Type-Ses)
I used Black Glossy Vinyl called "ORACAL Glossy Color Finish Vinyl Car Wrap Sheet" from StickerCity.com. A 60"x1 Foot sheet, which is more than enogh costs $25, making this a very inexpensive mod - if you dont live in Canada. I was only given the following shipping options on their web site:
UPS Worldwide Express Plus - $198.86
UPS Worldwide Express - $154.46
UPS Worldwide Expedited - $133.71
UPS Worldwide Saver - $149.30
...for a $25 product???? Not gonna happen.....So I called them up and long story short had it shipped to my house by express USPS for under $30...still too much if you ask me...
The installation was not too bad, having already removed the bumper a few times. It's a tedious task, but it will turn out as good as the effort you put into it. I'm very particular, and wanted it to turn out perfectly, so all in all it took me about 4 hours. Each part of the grille has to be taken apart, cleaned, dried, wrapped, and put back together.
Here's what it looked like:
Everything disassembled and cleaned
Everything wrapped and ready to be put back together
Ready to be put back on the car
End result!!
I LOVE how it looks, and I cant wait for the Rims!!!
