nice start. i think if you refinished the wheels (got rid of the curbage) and they were a different color, like a light gunmetal or something...it would look a lot better. just my opinion tho, what's next for you?

Hey man, with a drop like that did you have to get a camber kit for the front? What else did you have to buy besides a rear camber kit so the alignment would be right for the front?

i didnt buy a camber kit i only bought the type 1's set them at 2.5 all around and put them on and took it to get an alignment im running like 3.3 camber in the front and 2.6 camber in the rear and toe is all in the green no front or rear camber kit purchased at all all stock besides coilovers for now we will see if we run into any issues

wheel specs are
front 18x9 +25
rear 18x10 +35
tires are 225/40/18 all around
fenders didnt have to be rolled at all

I see.... Just incase you don't know, or no one has told you, running your tires at a camber like that for several thousand miles is gonna cause the inside tread of the tires to wear out faster than the outside tread.

Even if you get your tires rotated every oil change, or every other oil change, the inside tread is still going to wear out at a much faster rate than the outside tread due to the fact that the inside tread is getting more contact to the road surface than the outside tread is.

If your already aware of this (i'm pretty sure you are) than sorry for reminding you. If not, I can't make you do anything but suggest for you to get a front and rear camber kit so your tires will last much longer

Another thing, when you say "I set them to 2.5 all around" what do you mean by 2.5? You dropped all 4 corners 2.5 inches?

yes i do know about camber and what not my brother owns a shop and im close with the guys who do my alignment and they explain what they do and let me in the back to watch and learn whats going on and what does what and how bad camber is and what not and also ive had multiple of lowered cars that were lower this and the camber was worse and i didnt eat throough tires two bad and i wouldnt be able to get them rotated unless i take the tires off each rim but i was probably going to flip them around since the tires are directional and that will get me by for a awhile longer and i cant adjust the camber in the front becaust of the offset and i would have to roll the fenders before i adjust the camber in the back but i think ill be ok for awhile as is thanks for the concern and the advice and sorry in advance if i sounded like a dick in any of that also when i said 2.5 all around i meant it was lowered 2.5" all around on all four coners

It's cool man, I was just making sure you weren't going into it not knowing anything, but since you are well aware than it's all good

People ask me how low I'm dropped and I have no idea so I would always just estimate and say 2-2.5 inches. Now that I see what a real 2.5 inch drop looks like, it's safe to say that I'm dropped about 2 - 2.25 inches.

Car looks good! I always liked black on bronze/gold wheels.

You should consider getting Type-S rear sidemarker or niteshading it black, the red sticks out like a sore thumb on a black TL! Unless you're digging that, than that's fine.

Have you thought about removing your mud flaps? I say keep them, but once you get A-Spec lip kit installed lose em

Thanks I like the black on bronze too.

I was thinking about the type-s side-makers and tails but idk yet I'm kinda starting to like the red a little bit

I love the mud flaps lol I took them of today to see what it would be like and I didn't like it too much. idk how much i wanna do the aspec lol but we will see when that time comes. But for now mud flaps stay.

see im not running negative toe. I took it in and got a toe and go alignment so all my toe is in the green. That's what I have done with all my cars that can get on the alignment rack.

They are rota P45r by the way

First of all,how did u get those free? Lol... secondly I have the same drop as u and in the front I'm nowhere near 3 degrees something in negative camber... that seems like a lot...I have a rear camber kit which keeps it in check. Hopefully u let the car settle for atleast 3 weeks after u dropped it! Need more pics

there is a great write up that talks about how camber isnt what makes your tires wear out on one side on here somewhere. so all the people saying his tires will be gone in no time might wanna read that. and OP, car looks pretty good , not feeling the mud flaps at all, needs an aspec kit, maybe some type s rear sidemarkers.

Tints, wheels, drop-you're definitely off to a good start.

An Aspec Kit will do wonders for you!

Both Camber and Toe play a key role in tire tread wear.

Yes, Toe does wear out the tire faster than camber will, but camber will also contribute to the tire wearing on the inside tread because of the angle the tire is sitting. When a car has negative camber, the inside tread is getting the most road surface contact thus leading to faster inside tread wear.

According to what you are saying, what I'm learning in class at UTI is wrong and my instructor doesn't know what he's talking about
