Beautiful day, new rims, new photos

Well my car will be under construction for the next few months, but I made one major new purchase this week.......a set of 5zigen Proracer ZR+520 in a 19x9 +37 offset. I'm still using the same 245/35/19 Neogen tires and all is good. The slight stretch to the tire clears even more room from rubbing and these 9inchers fit as good if not better than my previous Volks.

Well here in the next few weeks I will show some other new items coming down the pikem can anyone see another new item I have installed?

My favorite

Yeah it looks like he doesn't have the Greddy anymore.

That ride is looking sweet. You scrapped the black hood project? Because I liked it on your car.

I personally think it sounds more sporty and refined. The smaller cans allowed me to lower the car slightly more .

The hood hasn't been scrapped, its just in the closet for the winter, to go for a different look for the next few months.

No roling needed, I would think these would clear a bbk nicely though.

Greddy is sitting still for a minute, have a few people that have made a few offers. But I will make that decision soon.

Tires are slightly stretched because of the 9 inch width. 245 is perfect for a 8.5 inch rim.....

They are not light rims by todays standards, I'd say around 28-29lbs? I bought them through a local store for $1200 with tax included (called speed alliance). On 5zigens site they msrp for $370 a wheel.

Wheels without lips look weird with stretched tires. 1st and 3rd picture shows that. The overhead picture(#6) looks good with the wheels. They remind me of the Volk Progressive ME.
I would've prefer something with a phat lip if you went with an 9" width wheel. Maybe if they were more concave I would like them more. I'm sure it'll look better after you are done with the construction.

edit: haha Donald, I read your mind lol.

yea, mine was 18 x 8.5 in chrome silver. it cleared bbk but rubbed fenders with 245/40/18 tires. 235/40/18 was fine. its good quality wheel but they are on heavy side.

This is about the least stretched tire you can get, if you are familiar with tires an rims 245 and a 9 inch rim the tire is barely sideways......

I wanted to get away from the lip. I see Civics with lips all day and I wanted to stand out alittle. I dont see many cars with these type of rims at all.

Thanks for all the kind words guys, I really like these rims!
