Axis Shine

Wheels are 19x8.5 +45 offset. I originally thought they were +35, I don't know why I never checked, and I was gonna run 15mm and 20 mm spacers on those. Then when I went to mount them, I find out they are +45 and luckily i already had those spacers because otherwise they wouldn't clear the front brakes. So final offsets are +30 in the front and +25 in the back with those spacers and I think I am gonna leave it like that. I didn't have to roll the fenders with being 1.5" lowered and just having some negative camber from that, and don't really wanna spend any more money on this at the moment. I only got a few pictures that I took with my phone but I will have more soon.

I think if I went out a little more that I would need to roll the fenders, maybe I could squeeze in another 5mm back there without rolling but that will have to wait.

That's Edmua6's car there (he just made a thread about it recently, with sick BBS LM)

And this I saw at a red light, it is blat black and it does have BRABUS lettering on the back but i am not sure if it's legit or someone just tried to make it look like that.

Nice! I've been trying to order those in 19" and 35 offset but nobody has it. Way out of stock they said. Know a shop(s) that has them?

Yea I have seen your thread about them. Pentas were my first choice too but I got a great deal on these from a friend that I couldn't refuse. Saved myself over a grand as well.

tires are 235/35/19 all around. Front are general exclaim and the rear are falken 452. general are wider looking than falkes though.

I don't really know, I got these from a friend. Try 1010tires.com they are in Canada though

I think it's the shadow that's covering the back wheels more so you can't really tell but there is the same gap all around. But it might be that the back springs have settled more. in person i didn't really notice it until i have seen this pic so I will have to double check.

So the back is at +25, and no rubbing running 235's without rolling fender? What are the chances of clearing if you ran +20?

yea back is +25 now and 235 tire. But I think it's also due to tire. Falken in the back 235 looks more stretched than 235 tire up front. I think I MIGHT be able to squeeze another 5mm there, I will give it a try soon enough, local guy that's also a member on here has a set of 25mm spacers so I am gonna do that one of these weekends. Maybe when he is detailing my car I can swap out the spacers.

yea they aren't always even. But you also have to look at the arches of the fenders, fronts are higher up than the rear

Nice work Myron-the wheels almost look like they are color keyed to your car.

Those wheels look great on the SSM. Congrats.

And no that's not actually a Brabus GLK. It'd have different exhaust/wheels/body kit. How embarrassing.

Yea I wasn't sure. I have seen pics of Brabus GLK a while ago so I don't remember it really. This thing is flat black tho, so probably wrapped

no not yet. They won't fit without rubbing so I would have to roll the fenders first.

No I don't have any pics directly from behind. I can take one tomorrow though

Real name is spelled differently and pronounced differently but that's what people call me in English haha And thanks.

Wow. Myron, I missed this thread. I know we were shopping for wheels at the same time. I love your choice. I was going to grab these a few years ago but I prefer more spokes. Love to see them on SSM. And I love how you have base sides. Good job!

thanks man. I have had these since november maybe but winter was long so I had to wait to mount them. And what do you mean base sides? Side skirts?

I got type-s side markers in the rear with brighter red LEDs and white LEDs in the front sides. I am toying with an idea of 07-08 base tails but smoked so the white kind of matches the side markers. I think that would finish it off nicely. Bforbrian has/had something like this and ballinfizzle did too.

Also this is what the front looks like now:

Yeah, I was referring to the side skirts. Since I haven't decided if I want to get the aspec kit yet, I noticed you had the base skirts and it looks good. I have an '07 so I kinda like that small slit on the back.

I've also been indifferent about the tail lights. I've left mine stock since I can't decide. But, what you are proposing sounds great. It will flow nice. Post pics when you're done.

And I love the polished lip on the TL. Just enough shine and the depth looks so good on this car. Pictures do them no justice. They look so much better in person.

^ you are lucky you already have those base tails I want haha

And when I got the kit, Ack didn't have these awesome deals where i could get the whole thing shipped to me for 800$. I paid over 800 for just the front and back with all the duties and taxes and shipping. I am contemplating getting the sides too but I am low on money now and have other priorities
