Thanks Soopa. Any idea how I can post larger images (greater than 1024KB)? Currently, the host I'm using has a limit of 1024KB per pic.

Great pics... Please post them together.

Pics are big enough, no need to make them even bigger.

Rets - When you say post them together, do you mean on the same thread or is there a way to concatenate them?
Thanks.

Nice....

I love anthracite, but the pinstrip, side molding, and little mirror magnifying glass kinda tackify it. Sorry

To each his/her own. Tired of seeing the same boring TL wherever you turn, that's all. I'm sure your's is "THE BOMB".

Oh, and carcar - The tacky little mirror saved my butt more than a couple of times. My car wouldn't be sooo pretty had I side-swiped the car in my blind spot. So I sacrifice the looks of the mirror for the overall look of the car (accident-free). HAHAHA!!!!

Ok, Another Fairfax TL...

I meant you may put those pics together into the same thread, this would make other members easily check your stuff/pics and make our forum less clutter-up.

I uploaded for you...

Do you paint your BRAKE calipers, too?

Since I have a manual, I painted the rear calipers to match the front Brembos. I also painted the hubs red as an experiment and decided to keep them that color since it matches the tail lights and engine cover.

Anthracite_Man,

Congratulations! Regarding the trim on the lower grill, is that painted, a pinstripe decal or some trim overlaying the plastic?

Kona - Thats aluminum door-edge molding cut to fit over the plastic. I put it on to see if it would bring out the lower grills a bit. Until there is an after-market replacement grill that I like, I think this is a cheap, effective, and reversible modification.

I should explain that all of the modifications I have made thus far are reversible.
The mods below can be removed with a hair dryer (use the hot setting):
1. BSMs
2. Pinstriping
3. ACURA TL etched glass decals
4. Clear headlight protective laminate.
While the mods below can be repainted:
5. Painted hubs/calipers
And the front lower grill aluminum trim can be removed.

Ok, man, your link could work with "[IMG]" command (You could use IMG instead of URL). And, your pic size is good. (Don't go any bigger... LOL)

Is this Acura's door edge trim? It kinda looks like chrome and I thought Acura's are car color-matched. Or is it a SSM colored trim? Whatever it is, I like it!

Kona,

I picked up the trim at Pep Boys for all of $6.00 (2 packs of 2 strips each). It actually looks like polished aluminum versus chrome and it clips on nice and snug w/o the use of any adhesive.

What's G2? I bought Rustoleum red engine enamel to withstand the break heat. I used a spray rust/converter prior to applying the paint. So far, no rust is apparent - but I this car hasn't seen any rain yet. Purchased in May 04, only 2K miles.

what spoiler options do you have?

Anthracite Man, what spoilers do you have on it? I like the front and underside spoilers, just not sure about the rear if I should get it.

My TL came with the wing spoiler on it already. While I like both the rear decklid lip spoiler and the wing spoiler, I'm happy with the wing in that it cannot be pried off the trunk (as others have already had theirs stolen) leaving the decklid dented and scratched. The wing spoiler is tastefully designed to compliment the lines of the TL from all angles - it wasn't an afterthought. Having said that, I'm sure some people absolutely hate it and prefer the decklid lip!! Scroll up on the previous page to see the spoiler in the pics I posted. BTW - I have none of the ground effects kit options as it looks "stuck" on as opposed to integrated with the body. Also, if you get the front lip spoiler, you cannot use the full nose protector. Put on the side and rear body kits and you cannot have mud flaps to protect your paint either.
