Ordered more useless parts on Amazon! Wanna see how it'd look on the Base A-Spec rear lip. I think it will look good. Will report back after I got it on the car.

Got the diffuser put on. I think it actually looks like it belongs there. Very subtle and not obnoxious yet changes the look a little. Opinions?

This is inspiring me because I, like a fool, sold my low milage TL for a high milage Kia three yeaes newer for better fuel economy, however, I still get in the low 20's so not much better and lost a lot of power. IDK if I want another TL because of the bad turning radius, low ride height and requiring premium fuel. I was thinking TSX but I had the opportunity to drive a new Honda Odyssey this week with the J35 and loved it. I must have a V6! I'm thinking 7G Accord now.

I'll be on a budget so you're inspiring me on what I should maybe do with the car whenever I finally get one.

Love how you put this car together... I know what it’s like to have a car in the city. Hopefully you can keep your baby protected from non drivers and ppl who use your bumpers to get in and out of spots.. Amazing car and progress, Midnight, I have a 7th gen accord as well...

How is it? Been wanting one since July 2015 when I started researching and studying them.

Have you ever driven a 3G TL or 1G RDX? How does it compare? FYI, I've been trying to ask every 7G owner I come accross that may have experience with a TL.

I drove a TL, TSX and Accord in one day in a parking lot, but they were all beaters, and the poor Accord was the biggest POS I had ever driven sadly.

I lost count actually! lol Definitely more than what I paid for the car itself. But I think its comparable to a current going price what people paid for a clean, well-maintained sample. If I have to guess, I probably put in about $3K into it.

$3K is not bad given how much you had done. I was thinking more like $4-5K. It's nice too see that it is possible to maintain amd modify on a budget if you get specific.

These just came in. The general census is that these are the best OEM replacements and industry standard as far as HID goes. Now I gotta wait for a nice day to spend 1+ hr to pop them in.

I have 3 pairs of these in my Acuras and yes they do brighter than OEM. However if you expect it to be 6000k its a sadly mistaken, the real color is more close to 4500k. Also you will need to use it 40+ hours before it get bright.

I traded my other wheels for these. They are 18x8.5 with +35 offset. AODHan DS01s. They will fit non-Brembo calipers. But if you got Brembos, you need to run spacers. I got 15mm spacers of mine and they were perfect.

Endless RPM J-Pipe

So I finally pulled the trigger and picked up the Endless RPM J-Pipe from Bruce. Since I am local, he was nice enough to meet up with me on a Saturday. Told him I'm a member on AZ forum and gave me a little discount. Those of you who doesnt know, the E-RPM J-Pipe are manufactured by Magnaflow to their specifications. The quality is exceptional. I went with their V2 which allows you to either run your stock 3rd Cat or a test pipe. I just reused my stock Cat. Their V3 comes with a High-flow Cat already attached but it costs about $100 more.

I had a shop install it since I knew all the bolts would be rusted as hell (NYC Winters and road salt). It took them about an hr trying to bust them all loose. They had to heat them up and there were still a couple of super rusted ones they had to grind off.

I am happy with the purchase. I haven't had a chance to open her up but I do notice the increased responsiveness on acceleration. Overall, I think the power band is a lot smoother. I have it paired with Tenabe Medallion Catback exhaust. The didn't notice any dramatic changes in the exhaust note. But it should help with droning while cruising on the highway. What J-Pipe is everyone running? And what's your experience? Please do share.

I installed this same jpipe last year, I wanted to keep my 3rd cat because I also installed PCD's so the 3rd cat made it so I have zero rasp. After the PCDs the car felt a lot better, then a couple weeks later I installed the jpipe and I would say it didn't feel quicker but it was smoother for sure. Had install issues at first but that was my fault, just had to loosen up where it bolts to the PCDs then it was easy. Next step is building my own catback

Just picked up my '08 base a couple of weeks ago. Gonna be a restoration process for a while. Picked it up for a decent price. Eventually I'll source Type-S ASpec lips and side skirts for it. For now, it's a simple daily to try and keep miles off my bike. Doubt that will happen.

Where are you getting your OEM parts? Local dealer, or online store?
