my brother just bought a new DSLR last week with a bunch of fancy lenses, etc so we'll probably just take pics on thanksgiving while were at my mothers house.

Judging by the pics I saw with the doors off all that time, the interior would be FULL of bondo/primer dust. If the didnt clean it up....you would wig the fuck out seriously....they get worse before they get better....

what do you mean they get worse before they get better?

Cleanliness wise. They get thrashed dirty.
The body shop that fixed my sisters car once didnt clean the bondo dust out of the floor of her trunk once. Her shit kept getting a chalky substance on it. She asked me about it and i lifted up the carpet. Prolly an inch of dust under the spare tire. One of the plugs had been pulled out and the air coming in was stirring the shit up.

Lol...I know his pain. An over-involved owner can be quite annoying and can cause undue pressure. Over time it got easier for me to handle. It is all about leveling with the customer and making your point without being insensitive. :ghey:

aaron-the shop will detail the car, but they usually put that glaze stuff on the car and clean up the interior. since you know the shop owner/painter he'll probably take care of you.
i personally hate that glaze crap b/c if they dont' wipe off the excess that stuff is a pain to wash off. your door jams may have some dust. i know when my car was in the body shop last, they just washed the car and proably used detail spray since i didn't want them using the glaze/polish stuff they use to make it all shiny. there was still a little bit of dust in the jams, but my interior was squeaky clean (it went in that way). i still ended up doing a full detail after i got the car home minus the panels that could not be sealed/waxed.
think of it this way...if you do a touch up and detail your newly painted baby...you can reacquaint yourself with the paint and really get a good up close and personal view of the job that was done on your car.
