AcuraCake's slow progress

Well, I've had my car since May 2010 and have done a few mods to it since then. It's hard when you have to make payments on it but still want to mod it too . I have installed Type-S taillights (from Sharkbreathe's car ), type-s rear sidemarkers to match the tails, ebay lip spoiler, put on a chrome front grille with the honeycomb back piece (from el profe ), and recently have done the non-navi to NAVI swap . So pretty much nothing compared to a lot of other cars on here haha. Gonna be doing some more stuff to it in the future though, I aint done yet!
Some crappy phone pics

Nice progress so far.

There are lots of mods that are inexpensive in terms of cost, they just take some time such as blacking/clearing out the headlights, debadging etc. Keep up the good work.

Looks good. Was there a lot involved in the non-navi to navi set-up or is it just plug and play?

There is a lot involved. Mainly taking the car apart and remembering how to put it back together haha. The wiring was pretty much plug and play just a few wires needed to be stripped and electrical taped.

Oh, nice. So you didn't even have to buy a new harness?

Nice progress, i want to do the non-navi to navi so badly. Keep up the work, there are plently of small mods you can do. Headlight cost pretty much nothing.

I had to buy the custom harness from Martin, that's how it was mostly plug and play.

Just installed the isim73!! There are so many wires behind my radio/screen now since doing the navi conversion and now this, tight fit haha.

I put the adapter in the compartment under the radio, then ran the wire under the arm rest.

This is when I tested it out before I ran the wire under the center console.

I like that it displays the song/artist.

This is next to be put in

Been lazy with updating this thread, but have still been modding.
I debadged the rear
Put the front and rear a-spec lip kit on (will get the sides soon)
Also put on the ATLP base exhaust

Then painted the stock rims gunmetal

And added a blue RV6 strut bar

Nice job on the stock rims. Did you use duplicolor graphite wheel paint?

Thanks, will drop next summer. My school's parking lot is total garbage, a new pothole everyday and it's like driving on a roller coaster with all the uneven dips

Hey man! Hadn't seen this thread yet. Car is looking nice, and I agree with Tyler, ATLP base exhaust really looks sweet.

Just picked up a set of these today.

I will probably put them on tomorrow to see how they look. I think they came with summer tires so I will not keep them on for now.
