Acura TL vs Chevrolet SS (56K honestly....?)
My friend and I had some time to kill on Saturday. Sooo we decided to do a little photoshoot waiting for dinner to be ready. Enjoy!

no there is no TL or types S that can hang with with this SS. He has long tube headers, custom intake all with a custom tune. Trust me this thing is incredibly quick

well yea his is tuned too...but stock 1.5lb/hp more isn't that great...especially because after 100mph that big thing becomes a brick through the air, the TL is way more aerodynamic.
The 6MT TL is quite a bit faster than the automatic...plus those huge rims are not helping you at all eather.
The 6MT TL-S is 12.44lb/hp so that becomes dangerously close to the same power to weight ratio, only .5lb/hp difference.
The SS is a 4spd auto as well...and given the propertys of the manual vs automatic transmission adn the 4 ratios vs 6...and the aerodynamics, i'm pretty positive the 6MT TL-S will spank that SS after 100mph...if they are both stock, it is a mathematical certanty....and even the non-S 6MT has a pretty decent chance since they are about 1 second quicker on the quarter mile than the automatic.

lol....wtf did he supercharge it? a 400hp huge suv won't tipically be able to keep up with a 500hp sports car, no way in hell.
my comparrison was the stock 390hp SS vs a stock 6MT TL-S...that'll be a good match...but since his is not stock, a TL-S won't have a chance, especially an automatic since they are a LOT slower than the 6MTs...you'd be suprised by how much, especially at high speeds.

the trailblazer ss is 4700lbs...the M5 is 4000lbs, the M6 coupe is 3900lbs...the Ms have 110hp over the ss....are way more areo dynamic, and have way better transmissions than the shitty 4AT in the trailblazer.
the math simply does not add up.
like all american cars with big v8s and low end tq...that ss would be dead after 100mph....besides, it's a trailblazer (which is a big POS) on steroids...so it's a pos on steroids.

i used to be an employee for GM then moved to BMW, currently with Mercedes.

i am saying that he can keep up.... my family is personal friends with a family that owns a BMW dealership.... i have driven in both cars.. they are incredibly fast, but so is his SS

Sure the SS might be quick on the straightaways, but not all roads are perfectly straight. There is no way in hell it can handle some slight bends. Reminds me of the Simpsons where they're being chased by a group of SUVs but are saved by a "slight turn" in the road and all the SUVs end up rolling over and catching on fire.

my opinion (i'm very anti-suv so bare with me)....TB SS is fast...but that's it, it's a piece of shit in every other way possible...from suspension to transmission to body style to quality to engine (even though it's powerful it's a low tec gas guzzling pos..any1 can make that).
i wudn't even touch it with a 10 yrd stick...stability is horrible and it looks funny cuz it'a a tall & boxy pos too.
there's sum suv hatin for you....sorry but i just HATE suvs...most useless vehicle ever created and it has taken over the american non-automotively enthusiastic market....with ppl that drive cuz they have to not cuz they want too....that's why i aslo very much dislike the automatic transmission....cuz it's made for lazyness and ends up in careless driving most of the time.
i wudn't even touch it with a 10 yrd stick...stability is horrible and it looks funny cuz it'a a tall & boxy pos too.
