Ok these arent my pictures, i saw it on facebook as one of my friends like this page and you all know that works.
Now for the car itself i dont mind it but not my cup of tea really. It can look good on other vehicles just not the TL imho. Some of the cars they do look really clean especially the evo they have on their page. What do you guys think.

Just to much black, the grill should have been left alone and the rear cover on the decklid. I dont like the black because its played out. Not gonna lie, funny I say that because im plasti dipping my boys 300zx black tonight. I agree with OP, just not the color for this car. I have a WDP and thinking of plasti dipping it camo green. Just something different.

At least he didn't make a huge thread about having the car repainted and took more than 2 pictures of the end result

the only reason you should ever plastidip an entire car is if its a beater and the paint is completely destroyed/clearcoat failure and there is no saving it.

I'm not against Plastidipping cars, since it's a cool concept in theory, but like all nice things, asshats are going to abuse it.
I think it's appropriate to say Plastidip is no longer 'cool' and 'unique'. It's just a shit way to make a shit car look like shit.

CARBON FIBER WDP TL
just had my friend bring in his car to my shop so i could finish what he had started. So the car is a mitsubishi spyder, original color purple. He dipped it white and did a bad job on it, ive never done this untill a few hrs ago. I tried but the car was a mess, not worth doing it. Mayb if the car was clean it would have worked, thought of dipping mine but HELL NO. My baby doesnt need that kind of abuse. Plus it doesnt look good up close or doesnt feel smooth at all.

In all fairness, it looks like a quality dip job. Even with a compressor and gun, plasti dip is very hard to lay down consistently.
However, I don't like the black. Why not go with any of the other 20 or so colors that plasti dip is offered in?
