2008 TL Base WDP (68k Miles)-Brian's Tron Car build

Hello all! I just recently bought myself a WDP TL March of this year. My best decision ever! Great thing is that all the maintenance was up kept and all services have been performed including the recalls.
I Shall be posting on a different thread on my progress of this car. Some of you may recognize my car as the "Tron Car"

Brian

Hey, did you carbon fiber wrap your aspec rear bumper? I really want to try those lights in the trim. Still not sure how you got it to be perfect or if you double wired it.
Also, you should make some room in your inbox. =)

Welcome Brian....the LED's really look good.

I've merged your 2 threads together. Since we're talking about the same car, let's have just one big progressive thread.

This was kind of a while back, but i believe they were T3 Neo Wedge Bulbs. I used a combination of blue and white on the Nav and Climate Ctrl. As for the radio, I believe I used those 5050 SMD LEDs along with here is a photo of how it looksFor the LEDs on the door handles, they were 3mm Blue straw hats, with 1k ohm resistors. For the foot well LEDs, I literally just took out the diffuser and changed out the resistor to .5k ohm.

you mind linking the leds you used for DRLs and Fogs? Are they both 6k? and do the fogs color match your stock HID's?
pic if possible plz, thanks in advance!

if he's running the stock D2S bulbs - they are rated at like 4300k - so a 6K fog bulb will have more blue tint to it and not match entirely with the main D2S.

Unfortunately I made a mistake of running 6k HIDs for my D2S. Thought I might be able to match my LED fogs but I was wrong. I will be switching them out to 5ks
As for LEDs I went on amazon, they have a ton for dirt cheap

I recommend checking out Diode Dynamics for LEDs - i have them in my DRLs, lower Fog Lights, Switchback turns - great company with a 3 year warranty

How's there kelvin rating when compared to stock headlight bulbs?

i wouldn't imagine much difference for the D2S - they sell D2S bulbs in the same rating at 4300k. They go more by lumens output rating, rather than the kelvin temp solely.
