Hello There, can you tell me where is Mr. Heeltoe located? I want to install the teins system also for my 07 TL-S, since my wife has been complained how hard those stock suspenssion are. Since you are form Socal, is he located in LA? I am from San Jose, Ca. In the mean time, I am planning to install it ASAP and sound system as well.

Here are what I have so far
JL 500/1
Jl 300/4 (might upgrade to 450/4)
two 6 1/2 component sets of Boston Acoustic Z6
no sub yet (thinking about two jl 10" w6)
no center speaker yet (any recomendation guys?)
JL cleansweep (I don't want to install this unit, because I do not want to lose one channel, any recomendation?)

i could honestly say i prolly wouldn't have considered the type-s had my car not been totaled. i had that thing just the way i wanted. the major thing i like about this car over my old one is it's faster! and my tiens are way better than the a-spec suspension i had on my 04. looks and performance wise. there's also other little things like two tone interior quad exhaust.

as far as comfort i feel the seats are better made (no butt prints). the suspension on the stock type-s is a bit harsh, but hey it's the sport model. the previous car had a-spec susp. a bit smoother. so this time i went with tien ss coilovers w/ EDFC. this gave me both the ride quality i was looking for and the perfect drop.

i used a small piece of 1/4" plexi glass. i carefully measured the opening of the lower compartment and the EDFC unit. had the plastics supply store lazer cut it exactly. i then painted one side gloss black. then i used some small L brackets and super strength double sided tape to mount it on there perfectly. here is a closer look




it still closes like its suppose to. i had not seen a real clean install of the unit yet. i wanted it it to look like it came from the factory like that. i really like it i use it all the time.

thanks for the props everybody! i gonna start my system upgrade next month. thats gonna be fun!

How much did they charge you to cut that plexiglass? I have a little project going, and wasn't looking forward to using a dremel to cut the plexiglass...........

the piece of plexi was free they have a ton of scrap pieces and if its small enough it's free. they charged me $20 but its perfect! it also depends on how many cuts and what they use. on mine they used some computer programed lazer cutter cuz of the rectangular cut in the center of the another rectangular cut. but if its just a straight line cut it's cheaper but it's very precise. the place is called Plastics Plus here in Orange. they'll do anything. i might have them do some engraving on some plexi that i will be using in my custom audio upgrade.

I am doing my own little install in that same area, something secret. Some people ahve installed it before, but not in the way I am doing it. And I need a finishing piece like that.

Just found a place here that will do it for 20 or 30......and they have the acrilic in black so I don't have to paint it
