Finally, I have some pictures from when I bought this car on December 29, 2011. I travelled from Fort Campbell, KY (about an hour northwest of Nashville, TN) to Anderson, IN to make this purchase. Here she is:











I will post more pics later of the progression. I do not plan to make too many changes as I think it looks pretty good as it is. However, I am open to your suggestions. I have been reading thru all your posts and I am quite impressed with all the mods.

I want to wait until I move to Texas in May as the percentage is 25% and here in KY/TN it is 35% on the front sides. But I am thinking of getting Huper Optik since it has the lifetime warranty.

Definitely getting it tinted when I move to Texas in May. My car is in the shop to fix the clutch problems but I am wanting carbon fiber front and rear consoles added too.

Thanks. Yeah, the tips needed some cleaning but they are good now. I read your thread "Just a reminder for fellow members..." on cleaning the exhaust tips with Bar Keeper's Friend, great thread and very useful.

LOL I am working on it but I just wanted to show pictures from when I bought the car. I will post more pictures as I make mods.

Currently, my car is in the shop to fix the 3rd gear (warranty covered) but I plan on replacing the whole clutch for the difference in price for the 3rd gear. I am also going to get my side mirror actuators fixed (warranty covered) but also replace my drivers side mirror due to the discoloration from the previous owner leaving the heated mirror on. I am adding a carbon fiber front and rear console while it is in the shop too.

Some mods I have already done are OEM door visors, all-season floor mats, trunk tray, and splash guards.

I am thinking of getting a better sounding exhaust but still undecided on which one to get.

Thanks! Yeah, I was lucky to find it although they also had a '08 TL-S MRP in Indianapolis with AT but that one was sold the day prior to my trip there.

Actually, it is MRP although the phone camera makes the color look like RRP. I believe the last year for RRP was 2006.

Received my car back on Friday after having the clutch, side mirror actuators and drivers side mirror replaced. Also, I had a carbon fiber rear console installed. Here is a picture of that along with the OEM all-season floor mats (and trunk tray) that I purchased in January:

Thanks! I am hoping I can get my car to look half as good as yours! Yeah, I noticed that about the A-SPEC and splash guards. Quick question though, are the A-SPEC sides lower than the Type-S sides? If so, by how much?

I don't believe the A-Spec sides are lower than Type-S, they just flare out a little more. I've never measured though so don't quote me on that
