CrazyNurse,
Thanks. I got them as part of the kit I bought with everything...body kit, suspension and wheels. Definately talk to Tim and see what he can do for you---he is a hell of a guy.

hey Dean, i noticed you said that you have 5mm spacers installed on all 4 rims right? can you tell me where you get it from? and how is the ride quality after installing spacers, cuz i read alot of people said it's gonna make the car vibrates and stuff is this true? and if you dont mind telling me how much was it for all four spacers thank you

DreTsx,
Yes, they are on all 4 wheels. I was fortunate enough to have a friend make them for me a while ago and have had them sitting here for over 2 years. Long story short--I had an 03 CLS and was going to put Rotora's on under the stock wheels and the only way to do that was to use a 5mm spacer. A friend was doing the same thing and worked at a place that could mill them up, so he had them done for us. They were made specifically for the Acura, with the lug pattern exactly and the center bore exactly--there is no movement in them at all. As far as cost...it didnt cost me anything, thankfully, he was making a set for himself and was kind enough to make a set for me as well---sorry.
As far as the ride. I have not had any issues with any kind of vibrations. The car is solid and no issues at all. I was on the freeway today doing 85 and it is solid as a rock. There is no noise, no vibration, no nothing. I really like the fact that the car has a bit of a wider track now too. I have heard good things about the H&R wheel spacers....you may want to try them.

MWalsh9152,
Ouch...that would suck to keep bending/fixing wheels. Either way, I am sure you will make the right decision.
I am in FL and the roads aren't too bad down here. I really wanted to go with 19's, but every one that I liked was too much $$$$--Volk, Work, IForged, etc....so I just went all factory for a change. I vote for A Specs, but I am kind of biased.![Big Grin](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Fyre Man,
Thank you very much for the compliment. That is exactly what I am doing....enjoying!!

why do u need a spacer for OEM ASpec rims? doesn't it go on perfectly without the spacer?

psheu,
It does not need a spacer, they just bolt right on with no problem. This is strictly a personal preference. I used them because I think they look kind of "sucked in" when the car is lowered and I wanted them to look a little more flush with the fenders.

yeah its getting old fixing the rims that for sure. I hear you about the cost of the rims...I settled on mine, I couldnt justify spending as much as volks cost. But I love the way mine looked. Craptastic picture but I didnt realize that I didnt have any good pics of that car untill it was gone.

Skrewologist,
Thanks for the compliments. I just took the tint off the tails and headlight corners to try something different. I am still torn on if I am going to put it back on there.
Here are some new pics that I took today with the stock headlights and taillights:

BLACKURA_NY,
Thanks!! I am trying to find a spare set of headlights so that I can do just that. Unfortunately, they are too damn expensive right now.
ttribe,
Thanks. I am getting used to it now, but I don't know if it is going to stay this way.
Japspec954,
Thank you very much.
SSMTL04,
Thanks a lot. Those are going to look great on yours as well.
TLAdvanced,
Thanks!!! Yours is looking good too!!!!
psheu,
I agree.....they should come this way from Acura.

Good to meet you on saturday Dean!
Kinetic just looks too damn sexy in the sunlight with the blue pearl.
This car is flawless in person, very well kept.

I appreciate all the tasteful mods...I've only had my 08 NBP TL 2 months and taking my time selecting the rims and kit (I should've waited for a TL-s). I assume the TL-S kit only fits TL-S? But, the TL-S can also fit the regular A-Spec kit? I think I've only seen a handful of your front lip kit.
So, you chose the A-Spec suspension over an aftermarket suspension (ie. Tein/coilovers/Koni + Comptech springs)? Was that for ride quality or drop? I assume you have no rubbing issues with a full passenger load?
Thanks and keep her clean!
