Cool 2007 KBP TL-S with A Spec Complete (56K move on)

Finally got the tires installed today--went with 235/40/18 Michelin Pilot A/S and they are amazingly quiet. I probably should have bought 245, but didn't think about it until it was too late....so next time I will get the 245's.

I also installed a 5mm spacer behind the wheels to push them out a bit. I think the A Specs look kind of "sucked in" when the car is lowered, so with the spacers, I think it sits perfect.

Pictures were taken with my new toy--a Canon Rebel XT D-SLR

I am done with it, so now I get to enjoy it.....FINALLY.

Let me know what everyone thinks....comments are appreciated.

I think most of this in in my signature, but here is what is done to the car:
5% tint all around with 50% on the front windshield---yes it is illegal.
Full A Spec Body Kit, Suspension and Wheels
Comptech rear sway bar
AEM Cold Air Intake
Outlaw Engineering Manifold and Throttle Body Spacers
Tinted Headlight Corners, Tails and Reverse lights
Focal mids and highs
JL 12W6 sub
Alpine PDX 1.600 and 4.150 amps
Second battery and isolator
Enough sound deadening to keep everything in check

Lookin sharp....

Did you use rockblockers for the taillights? If so the 35%??

Can you post a head on shot in the sun for the windshield. I am SOO tempted to tint the windshield as well. thats why.

That turned out very nice! Love the A-Spec wheels with that color. Which finish are your A-Spec wheels?

Thanks...

Yes, it is the Rockblocker for all of it.

It is kind of overcast here today, so here is one that I took a couple of weeks ago:

VERY nice! KBP looks great!
A few questions:

Are those the earlier 8.5" A-Specs or the later 8"?

How do the Michelin Pilot A/S ride? I'm considering those for my first upgrade on my TL-S.

Is the A-Spec suspension much firmer than the TL-S suspension?

Thanks in advance....looks fantastic!

Looks beautiful... I'd prefer the TL-S tails over the blacked out but overall, a gorgeous car.

ttribe,

Thanks. The color is called Ebony.

Ramrodthrusterpuppy,

Thank you so much for the compliments...they are definately appreciated.

These are the new ones that are 8" wide.

The Michelins are absolutely amazing--though I only have about 25 miles on them right now. I am sure my opinion will be the same in the future. Absolutely no noise whatsoever and the cornering seems pretty sick too.

The A Spec suspension is a little bit tighter than the stock Type S, but not jarring by any means. I really like it and it definately corners MUCH flatter than before.

rondog,

Thank you sir!!! Also, thanks for the confidence in the tire size.

Sclass88,

Thank you for the compliments.

Fulani,

No problem. There are no inspections here, so no need for the sticker. I would see if they will let you tape it on instead of sticking it directly to the windshield.

Imma have to wait till inspection time is near, then get it tinted and take it straight to the my man, who does my inspections. Place some of that protective stuff that people use on textbooks before he sticks the sticker onto the windshield, otherwise IM SCREWED.

HOTTNESSS!!!!!!!!!!! I can't keep myself from lookin at these pics.

vinnier6,

I forgot about that. Yes, the one with the whole pops right off. Just hold the door handle out and look in there and you will see the clip that holds it on there. Yes, it does just pop right on there.....and its cheap---like $6 or so. Thanks and good luck with your KBP!

gunner11311,

Thanks for the compliment.

I agree 100%, the car is at the top no doubt about it. Complete A-Spec, the spacers, it doesnt get any better...sick. I think the TYPE-S tails would compliment the complete original "race" idea being OEM- the whole thing i mean 100% KBP A-SPEC- nasty

Eoanou,

Thank you for the compliment.

badazzTL-S,

Thank you sir. I really like yours as well.

jeowen,

Thanks for the compliment. Yeah, the blackouts are definately not for everyone.....I have done the blackout thing since 2003 when I had my Black 03 Acura CLS, so I am kind of drawn to it now.

Those wheels are bad ass!

I have been looking for the part # everywhere. Did you buy them separately or as part of the A-Spec package?

I'm going to see if I can ge these in a GB from hondaacuraworld. Your ride is lookin' good but do you mind taking closeups of the wheels?

Thanks

P.R.E.A.M.

Thank you. Sorry being a bad influence----NOT.

CrazyNurse,

Thanks. I got them as part of the kit I bought with everything...body kit, suspension and wheels. Definately talk to Tim and see what he can do for you---he is a hell of a guy.

I have these pictures that I took a couple of weeks ago of the wheels:

I have Tein SS' with an EDFC, and staggered 19" Axis supermesh rims that I HOPE will clear the brakes! Then if they do fit hopefully I will like how they look on the KBP. I need to get it tinted when my schedule works with my tinters.

I'd love to get an A spec lip kit, but Im gonna have to buy the gf a ring before that will happen.....Im gonna hate seeing my bike and four wheeler sitting on her finger

puma0504,

Thanks for the compliments!!!

After all the comments about it, I went ahead and pulled the tint off the tails tonight.

I completely forgot what the tails looked like since they have been tinted since 2006, when I got the car home. I kinda like it.....maybe I will leave it this way for a little while---if I get bored, I will tint them again.
