Why why why why why would you down grade in specs?

7.5 will be sunken in.
Always match stock specs or go more aggressive

^it looks the same; but with weaker specs.

I wouldnt even look at wheels that are 8 inches or less in width.

7.5" wheels would cut through snow like a mofo.

Arthur, you gonna try and put 275 tires on a 7.5" rim?

The issue with the TSX rims is that in addition to the 7.5 width, also have an offset of +55 I believe. If I'm correct, these will be extra sunken. with 25mm spacers all around, and for just snow plow duty, I'm sure they would be fine. Without any spacers tho, they would probably look mighty awkward.

No lol, I'm fine with the stock tire size.

I picked up a set of 7.5" A-Specs a few weeks ago, which is why I'm asking. I do plan on grabbing spacers though as these won't clear my RL calipers for sure.

I don't think half an inch will make a huge difference like "plowing through snow like a mofo" it still depends on what tire you are using.

Also I don't think the +55 will clear brembos

I think the sarcasm alone would help melt the snow slightly and then the 7.5 would make light duty of cutting through it.

What if you run a 235 series tire (same as OEM spec) on this wheel?

the specs of the wheel is to narrow and the offset is too high.
it will look wrong and be wrong, even if you add a spacer to it.

it would be best to just get the correct specs the first time around.

You need at minimum a 15mm spacer with these wheels and the RL calipers. That is the size I needed for the same wheels to clear the RL calipers but there's very little spacer between the caliper and the wheel spoke. I guess if machining of the caliper bracket isn't perfect, then get a 20mm spacer.
