On the rears anyways. 18x9 +34 with 235/40 on the fronts. AND I can run the specified -1 camber in the back with this height with just a roll and ever so slight pull.
And before all the "needs MOAR low" crowd starts, this IS my daily. I am in nw Indiana and my roads are shit. This is as good as it gets without rubbing. Tired of hearing the wife complain that the car is not practical, u can't drive it anywhere yada yada. But she is right.
I wanted an all season tire in these sizes, it left me kinda limited. Yes I'm rolling this setup year round. Was gonna get dws, but in my research, I found cooper put a lot of eggs in their basket with their new zeon rs3-a. They are a new tire released late 2011, so not a whole lot of reviews. I went out on a limb and tried them. So far so good. My main goal was quiet and comfortable, and they seem to be that. On to pics

Murph, so far so good. No rub. Nahhh...I was debating on a 285..lol I'm thinking these tires run a Lil on the big side also.
Kidduce. MOAR low? Fuck there's really no wheel gap, not trying to tuck tire and make it unpractical....again. Lol. And yea...iPhone pics. Lmao

Everything looks good. Perfect stance-not too low, just right.

Looks great. Perfect ride height. Lowered enough to give it a nice stance but still practical. Don't go "moar low".
People don't understand how important suspension travel is to a car's handling.

yup, pretty comfortable too, not much off from stock, if any. fronts are 235/40/18...I actually had ordered 245/40/18s but they were bigger O.D. and you could clearly see that in the sidewall. these two sizes were closer in OD and sidewall. I didnt want a taller tire in the front. like I said, these tires appear larger than others ive seen in these sizes.
Thanks!![Thumbs Up](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
haha yup...i need practical. I have a "moar low" show truck

I just got tired of that, its what im getting away from...I had stretched tires and spacers on that setup and was low..still not low enough for some apparently..![](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j18/mrod81/407075_351499251527653_100000027440265_1368501_331581178_n.jpg)

In my other thread, thats the gist I got from some.."MOAR LOW" The car rode rougher and I had to slam it so low, i smacked my Kframe just by driving cautiously just on a ridge in the road. scared the shit outta me..a lil important thing called the oil pan is right there.....And like I said, I still had folks saying moar low..lol I dont see how some people ride as low as they do without smacking what I did...sometimes I think ppl just slam, post and raise...but forget to mention the "raise" part..haha

Lol if u were close, I'd take u for a Lil ride. U think we get looks in the acuras....
Thanks!
Thanks! I know most people on this site don't care for that "culture" minitruckers and tuners are totally different breeds. I'm just a hybrid of everything and can appreciate anything custom....exzept donks...those suck. Lmao
thanks!
Thanks! The tires are riding out really nice. No input on stickyness or performance yet. As its cold in the chi, and haven't pushed it at all lately.
On another note, murph..u were right. With me alone in the car, no rub. With my wife and sister-in-law in the car, it rubbed a lil on harder cornering. I cambered it in to the heavy side of -2. Hopefully that cures it.
Thanks!

Thats the thing...IM NOT. This is the vehicle I drive thru harsh Chicago winters, take to the mall, drive to work ETC. unlike a lot of people on here, THIS IS NOT MY "SHOW" VEHICLE. My family has owned an INDY shop for 4 generations, Im just THAT into cars that I mod the shit outta my daily.
And please dont talk to me about "low and slow" what do YOU know about dragging frame?

Truck looks nice I always wanted a silverado or S-10 on bags.
The TL looks good as well.

the stock 235/45/17 has an OD of 25.32...The 235/40/18 has an OD of 25.40..so not much off there. stock aspec tire size was this.
that left me with the rears. 265/35/18 OD is 25.30....275/35/18 OD is 25.57. But with the staggered setup, I wanted a beefier tire in the rear, to match the fat 10" wheel. (I didnt want a smaller tire in the rear), I wanted a tire that was the same size or BIGGER in the fronts. Plus I didnt want it stretched...AT ALL. I was kinda worried the 265 wouldnt be as square.
![](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j18/mrod81/7ca3dd57.jpg)
I origonally had 245/35/18 for the fronts, but the sidewalls between the fronts and rears were noticably bigger..once again, i didnt want larger fronts than rears with a staggered setup...but thanks for the compliment haha
All of the ODs are aproximate and vary from tire to tire..I understand that. I just tried to make an educated guess as to the best size for my goals.
