07 Type-s new mods/goodies under the hood..... lots of pics!
i finally had time this weekend to do some installs and fab work for my next mods. i installed the Sun hyper voltage GT system and a Greddy radiator breather tank. i also got rid of the black tarp under hood and painted the underside of the hood with some Thermo-Tec hi-heat coating paint. then finished it off with a hi temp clear coat. i also go my real carbon fiber front bumper inserts. as for the performance of these mods i'd say it's minimal. i did it mainly for looks. i think it looks pretty cool under there now. i took a bunch of pics for your viewing pleasure. let me know what you guys think
Sun hyper voltage GT system and Greddy breather tank
ok.... the only writing i understood was....greddy and breather tank
ok remember the picture on the package? this is what i got! dull aluminum tank.
so........ i took it to my polishing guy. two hrs later he gives me this
the tank came with a bracket, i decided to make my own. the included one would not work for me in my install spot.
new hoses from the breather tank to the radiator and over-flo tank
had to tap into the lower radiator hose. i had to get a Greddy hose adapter
next was the voltage system. it also comes with brackets, i wanted to make my own cool looking one. came up with a design and began cutting the aluminum sheet.
came up with this. i planned on mounting it in front of the radiator, there were two bolts i could utilize.
here im testing out the fitment. the two bolts hold it very securely.
i painted it black with hi-heat engine paint. i also made a small cover out of some plexi, to match my batter cover
some shots of the underside of my hood
CF bumper inserts
Greddy strut bar
thanks for looking comments welcome!

ever thought of making the "greedy" on the strutbar CF?
I like the bracket for the voltage kit, and u my friend are a polishing pheen, engine bay looks sick, but sadly the battery plexiglass is looking out of place now
thought of trimming it down and dropping it down sort of like to seperate the battery from the entire engine bay, impressive fab'ing skills

lol!!! i missed that, the polishing guy i use is like 5 mins from my house and does good work, FAST! he's the same guy that did my ATLP exhaust, i dropped the tank off, then he calls me like not even two hrs later to pick it up! $15 and it looks 10X's better.

with a breather tank and fully filled system it allows room for air expansion, reducing chances of overheating due to air-lock. Without the breather tank, it is possible for air bubbles which get very hot to develop inside your cooling system, reducing cooling efficiency.

I've been looking at these pictures back and forth, and i have to definitely make a comment on the attention to details of your work jptl04. Just clean and well thought of, even the way you make the brackets and things...not a "slap it on and i'm happy with it" job, just flawless bro-i admire your work, awesome job x2
