Very nice wheels and tires. How do you like the Kumhos? My next set of tires will be the ASX's. Your car's looking good!

thanks!, yes so far i like the Kuhmo's, but i will be exchanging them for 245's instead of the 235's. Discount Tire was cool about this. they said as long as it's less than a week its fine, so they are ordering the 245's today. same type though the ASX. They seem to be a lot better than the stock EL42's that come on it.. quieter, feels better all around.

what makes them look small is the large fender gap... i need to put different springs on...

also the 19's use a 35 series tire... for me that's a little too small for ride comfort...

i can tell the 18's look bigger than the 17's but it will look a lot better with a drop

Nice idea and pics on the keyhole cover. I'm going to my dealer during lunch and order one.

I like the keyhole cover idea too......BUT...keep in mind you are screwed if your battery ever fails! That is the only other way in! I'm too big to fit in the small hole through the back seat to trunk!

Would the remote key still open the trunk if the battery fails? If so, I have a small screwdriver in the trunk to pop the keyhole cover just in case.

Carry a multi-tool in your pocket. Small flat head screwdriver on it. Not have the key showing reminds me of the old shaved door handles I used to see on pickup trucks at shows I use to go to.

Been thinking alot about it myself.....thats a friggin cool ass idea dude! I gonna order one of those covers myself - I thought the same thing last night....just take it off if that ever happens...you can still access the little retainer clip deal when the door is locked....so my initial assessment may have been right if it is your wifes car or something....but given this is mine...I think I can handle it! You are right...a small multi-tool in the trunk would do it!

Thanks for sharing the cool idea on the door lock cover!

Rehashing of the facts or not....it is a good one that is well worth looking into. I ordered one from Acura of Escondido (A of E Parts on ebay) for $8.00 plus $4.00 postage. Got a quote from local dealer at $12.31. Bought it from California like everything else. I mean....not to be cheap....but my local dealer NEVER can get close to AofE in California so I buy everything I can long distance Cali to Indiana just to spite my local parts dept guy. He stated one day that "they are not in the business to negotiate parts pricing" ... so I dont even mess with him 99.9% of the time. Note though...if you buy it from AofE....you will have to contact them directly or via email at sedwards@cushcars.com (scott edwards) because they dont list that part on ebay of course! Not enough people have done it yet to get the attention to list it I guess. More postings like this and maybe that will change too....

ok here's some new pics

i changed out the tires to 245/40/18 from the 235/40/18's and to me this is the perfect fit. i would suggest not getting 235's they are a little thin, the 245's are a better fit, and with a 1" drop it will be perfect

i would like to upgrade the brakes (i'll just paint the calipers for now)
plan on getting either Eibach 1" Springs or wait longer and get the Tein Coilovers
AEM CAI

and that's probably it for a while...

personally i prefer the look without the OEM bodykit, i've always preferred simple lines and curves, to me the body kit adds a little too much distraction for me.... it does look good, but i prefer without it
